00:00Hello street racing fans, welcome to JDM Japanese Driftmaster tuning presentation.

00:13Today we'll talk about setting up your dream drift cop.

00:16Let's dive into the process, starting with a stock Nissan 350Z and tune it for drifting performance.

00:24Visually we went with a classic drift look.

00:27We changed the rims, bumpers, fenders, even the side mirrors.

00:32On the back we put a nice, not oversized spoiler and installed some mean looking exhaust to complete the look.

00:40We also switched up the steering wheel, gear shifter and seats.

00:45Remember, internal parts are equally important in building the car's vibe.

00:50Now let's move to mechanical tuning.

00:53We want to have a lot of horsepower and torque at our disposal, so we are picking the best items we can find.

01:01Note that in JDM most of the high end parts unlock additional customization through fine tuning.

01:08For now we pick adjustable suspension, control arms and the steering system so we can further tinker in their setup.

01:16We install stiffer sway bars and a welded differential.

01:21We finish up by picking better brakes and tires.

01:25It's now time to set the car up.

01:27We lower the suspension to give it a mean street look.

01:31In general we want the car low to make it more stable first.

01:35Next let's improve how easy it will be to go into a drift, starting with changing the wheel alignment.

01:42In front we apply negative camber so that's easier for us to turn the car.

01:47In the back we center the camber.

01:50We want the full tire to grip the road which will help with our control during drift.

01:56What we've shown you here today only scratches the surface of tuning possibilities in the game.
