Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh – A violent altercation broke out between the Train Ticket Examiner (TTE) and the train manager aboard the Duronto Express, with the incident captured on video and now widely circulated on social media.
The clash reportedly took place in the SLR (Seating cum Luggage Rake) coach near Prayagraj. According to initial reports, TTE MK Podar entered the guard's coach to inspect tickets, which led to an argument with the train manager. The disagreement quickly escalated into a physical fight involving kicks and punches.
When the train reached Prayagraj station, the situation intensified further as the train guards allegedly called in their colleagues, who then slapped and assaulted the TTE. Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel had to intervene to separate the two parties and restore order.
The incident has prompted a formal inquiry, with the Divisional Operations Manager (DOM) assigned to investigate the matter. Indian Railways has confirmed that appropriate action will be taken following the findings.
