00:00So Shane, do you think Trump has underestimated China?
00:03Do you think China have other plans already
00:06and they are looking at different places to move their trade?
00:10They're one step ahead here.
00:12Yeah, no, I agree what you said,
00:15that China's in a better position than the EU,
00:17but I looked at some of the figures
00:18and China's not in a better position at the moment
00:21than it was in the Trump administration the last time.
00:24But also I looked at the figures as well
00:26and in terms of there's about 300 billion deficit
00:30in terms of trade from the US side.
00:32But also when you look at what are the proportion of exports
00:36that went to the US,
00:38it was about sort of like 20% back in the last administration
00:41and now it's down to 12.
00:43So I think China's reliance on the US is reduced
00:46at the same time that its economy is not performing as well.
00:49So I think that's going to benefit Beijing
00:52because it's looking at other markets.
00:53It's looking at our backyard here in the Middle East.
00:57So I think the Middle East could benefit from China
00:59looking even more away from the US
01:02and looking towards other regions to get trade deals,
01:06trade investment.
01:08The Belgian road, for example,
01:09has been a huge benefit for this region.
01:13So I think, yeah, China will start looking
01:15at other potential partners,
01:17which is great for where we're sitting right now.
01:19So I think the old world is getting a lot and
01:24anything that probably means about this region
01:26that the US and a uncertainty can find
01:28the hills, that of course not to worry Transfer hay
01:32levels and things like the US
01:39of the US and the US and of course not to worry
01:45over the world,
