The Greens and One Nation have launched their electoral pitched to Northern Territory voters, centring on crime and cost of living. Despite their ideological divide they are hoping, policies to increase taxation of gas exports and on prevention rather than punishment on crime, will attract voters disillusioned with the major parties.

00:54Very few programs, either NT funded or federally funded, are properly evaluated for the effect
01:00that they're actually having.
01:02And One Nation calling for a return of remote boot camps.
01:05We need to get these kids busy working, doing stuff that they enjoy doing and putting them,
01:11making them feel like they matter.
01:13Despite finding some common ground on local issues, they're still separated by an ideological
01:18gulf in their core policies around immigration and the environment. And then there's people
01:24power.
01:27The Greens campaigns in Alice Springs and Darwin, backed by a small army of volunteers.
01:33We've been door knocking for the last, you know, since the last election and what we're
01:37hearing from people is that they are ready for a change.
01:40While One Nation's candidates doing it all on their own.
