00:00Are you crying?
00:04You got me.
00:05Welcome to Miss Mojo, and today we're counting down our picks for the small screen couples who were put through the ringer
00:11but eventually got to have their happily ever after.
00:14Spoilers ahead!
00:23Number 10. Sydney and Vaughn, Alias. In this espionage thriller series from the early 2000s,
00:30Jennifer Garner stars as a double agent caught between her job and her budding romance with her handler, Michael Vaughn.
00:36Hey guys.
00:38Let's talk to base. We did it. We kicked their asses.
00:41Hey.
00:43Guys, hear what I said? Asses.
00:48Kicked.
00:49Their push-and-pull is complicated by international super villains and Vaughn's eventual marriage to another woman who turns out to be a double agent herself.
00:58Let her go. Put the gun down. Do it now. Put the gun down!
01:02If you love her, you put the gun down.
01:05It's hard to expect a happy ending when your relationship is directly correlated to the fate of the world.
01:11Through all the assassination attempts, near-death experiences, and faked deaths,
01:15Sydney and Vaughn managed to find their place in the sun at series end. You can't say they don't earn it.
01:21You have a hard time finding this place? What, are you kidding? I had an impossible time finding this place.
01:26Well, I guess that's sort of the point, right?
01:30Hello, stranger.
01:31Number nine, Michonne and Rick, the walking dead, the ones who live.
01:36We can make this whole damn world ours if we want to.
01:39Yes, we can.
01:41That sounds like something I'd say.
01:43It is.
01:45You never know who's going to live and die on AMC's sprawling zombie franchise.
01:50No one is ever safe.
01:52Rick Grimes and Michonne lose so many people over the show's run that it almost stretches
01:58believability for them to end up happy and at peace.
02:00You want me to stop creating the foundations of a new civilization?
02:06Well, I can think of another way
02:09to build for the future.
02:11When Rick actor Andrew Lincoln exited the flagship The Walking Dead series,
02:16viewers weren't sure if these two would ever make it.
02:19Michonne spends her last while on the original show searching for him.
02:22The six-episode mini-series, The Walking Dead, The Ones Who Live, is dedicated to how they find their way back together and
02:30reform their family. Their story ends about as happily as it can given that this is a post-apocalyptic world overrun by zombies.
02:38You're the brave man?
02:40I am.
02:47I am.
02:52He is.
02:53Number 8. Jane and Raphael.
02:56Jane the Virgin. This CW soap never strayed far from its telenovela inspirations.
03:02No happy ending was just handed to anyone. Jane and Raphael's relationship starts with a child in a very unexpected way.
03:10And they work their way backwards from there.
03:13I'm fine.
03:14It's four feet, Baywatch.
03:17I'm sorry. I didn't I didn't know if you could swim.
03:19You know I can stand, right?
03:24You look like Cousin Itch.
03:27But other loves, crime syndicates, and melodramatic subplots constantly get in their way.
03:33Ultimately, the thing that makes the show work is how much these two strangers become each other's biggest supporters.
03:40What?
03:41Petra freaked out.
03:43Because she thinks that you still have feelings for me.
03:46And that if I knew that,
03:49I'd choose you.
03:50Raphael is endlessly supportive of Jane's writing career.
03:54And she is equally determined to see him end his family's cycle of violence and toxicity.
03:59They end the series married and parenting their happy little accident, Mateo.
04:04Daddy, do you promise to never ever break up with mommy again?
04:08Yes.
04:10I do.
04:11And mommy, do you promise to never move back to Biza's house again, even when daddy's really mad at you?
04:18I promise.
04:19Yeah, you're married!
04:20Number seven, Carol and Doug, ER.
04:24The first episode of the long-running medical drama saw troubled emergency department nurse Carol Hathaway
04:29trying to take her own life and ending up being saved by her colleagues.
04:34Her ex, Dr. Doug Ross, would spend most of his time on the series trying to figure her out.
04:39I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that.
04:42Uh...
04:45You didn't do it alone.
04:47But they work in the ER. Death and drama is their entire life.
04:50Their love affair appears to end when George Clooney leaves the show.
04:54Doug...
05:00I don't want to wake up alone tomorrow.
05:03However, when Julianna Margulies also departs,
05:06they bring him back for a cameo to make sure we know their years-long on-again-off-again romance is finally on for good.
05:14It's beautiful here.
05:16Take my hand
05:23Take me home
05:29Number six, Dre and Bo, Black-ish.
05:32Oh, babe, I can't believe all of this is ours.
05:36Me either.
05:38This is crazy.
05:40Crazy.
05:43How the hell did we get here?
05:46I don't know.
05:47These two have a lot to juggle,
05:49but their shared sense of humor and approach to parenting made their marriage seem solid as a rock for the longest time.
05:56In season four, though, Dre and Bo make the brutal decision to split up.
06:01How the hell did we get here?
06:05I don't know.
06:06But the one-two punch of their separation and the death of Bo's father sees them end their split and come back together mercifully fast.
06:14Yes, it may not be as dramatic as some of the other stories on this list,
06:18but for a sitcom couple, these two had us in our feelings in the worst way.
06:23You know, when you finish college, there's a graduation ceremony.
06:27You get married, there's a wedding.
06:30When a loved one passes away, there's a home going.
06:38What?
06:41I got it.
06:43Number five, Joey and Pacey, Dawson's Creek.
06:46Sometimes timing is everything. Joey Potter and Pacey Witter had a lot going against them over six seasons of Dawson's Creek.
06:54I guess it-
06:56it means that I can talk to you and that you're there for me.
06:59Don't you ever get tired of talking?
07:00No.
07:01No, I don't get tired. Well, I don't-
07:03I don't want to talk anymore.
07:04What are you trying to say, Pacey? Why are we standing?
07:06I don't-
07:08From initially having to hide their feelings to never finding the right rhythm as friends,
07:12the yearning and teen angst was always dialed up to 11 where they were concerned.
07:18I don't think you're in any position to talk about what's fair.
07:21You were my best friend.
07:22I still am.
07:24I'm finding that a little hard to process right now.
07:27It's the truth, Dawson.
07:28So I guess it's safe to assume that friendship doesn't come above sex in your list of personal priorities.
07:32This has nothing to do with sex.
07:33What are you, in love? Is that what this is?
07:36Despite them finally getting their happy ending in the series finale,
07:39creator Kevin Williamson would later kick the hornet's nest by suggesting they would be divorced by now.
07:45Though even he implies it would likely be a temporary rift.
07:49Pacey and Joey got married.
07:53I think they had a family.
07:55I think there were troubles.
07:56I think they got a divorce.
07:59And I think that when we meet them, they are- they have- they're in a very, very dark place.
08:04Well, we don't care what Williamson says.
08:07These two are together forever in our hearts.
08:10Number four.
08:11Kurt and Blaine.
08:12Glee.
08:13If he had never been tormented at McKinley High, Kurt never would have gone to Dalton Academy.
08:19And he never would have met the dreamy, almost impossibly perfect Blaine Anderson.
08:24So you have two options.
08:26I mean, I'd love to tell you to just come and roll here.
08:27But tuition at Dalton's sort of steep and I- I know that's not an option for everybody.
08:32Or...
08:33You can refuse to be the victim.
08:37Prejudice is just ignorance, Kurt.
08:40And you have a chance right now to teach him.
08:43That's not to say the rest of their relationship was smooth sailing.
08:46For every song and dance routine, the ship affectionately known as Clean
08:50had its own brushes with tragedy, homophobia, and infidelity.
08:55I needed you.
08:56I needed you around and you weren't there.
08:59And I was lonely.
09:00And I'm- I'm really sorry.
09:03You don't think that I've been lonely?
09:05You don't think that I've had temptations but I didn't act on it because I knew what it meant.
09:10It meant something horrible and awful.
09:11I'm so sorry, Kurt. I really am.
09:14However, the series finale sees them having overcome these challenges.
09:18They are happily married with a child on the way via surrogacy and make their living performing
09:23while also giving talks to motivate little ones to go after what they want.
09:28We had an amazing teacher who accepted us.
09:30Well, all of us.
09:31Yeah, so we want to encourage all of you guys to be proud of who you are
09:35and to find friends that accept you and to not only dream but to dream big
09:40and surround yourself with people who can help those dreams come true.
09:44Number three, Randall and Beth, This Is Us.
09:48I won't let her life go off track when she's come this far.
09:50I think we need to be firm about that.
09:52I don't think you understand how dangerous the position we're in is right now.
09:57Imagine that you were that age and somebody told you that you could not date me.
10:01The thing about this drama is that it never shies away from the highest highs
10:05and the lowest lows on life.
10:07On This Is Us, Randall and Beth consistently show us what it means to have your partners back.
10:12Randall's past sees him abandoned by his biological father,
10:16which haunts him even though he lucked out with his loving adoptive family, the Pearsons.
10:21I came here today so I could look you in the eye,
10:24say that to you, and then get back in my fancy-ass car and finally prove to myself
10:31and to you and to my family who loves me that I didn't need a thing from you
10:35even after I knew who you were.
10:37The marriage is especially tested in the third season, giving way to some vicious fighting.
10:42For the past 20 years, I have stood by your side through every whim, every pipe dream,
10:48every flight of fancy that you can think of.
10:51And for the first time, the first time, I have a flight of fancy.
10:55Something that I want and still it becomes about you.
11:00Through it all, though, they remain together,
11:02even as their separate passions and callings threaten their union.
11:06They pull through and there's even a suggestion
11:08in the series finale that the two make it to the White House together.
11:12What are you doing?
11:222. Ian and Mickey
11:34Shameless!
11:35Few of the couples on this Showtime dramedy ever did things the traditional way.
11:40Ian Gallagher and Mickey Milkovich were mid-fight when they understood they were into each other.
11:45They could be callous and emotionally distant with other people,
11:48but together, there was always an undeniable chemistry.
11:52Look, look at him. He's too pretty to be the man.
11:54Through the years, with all the substances, mental illness,
11:57and violence that came with their rough upbringings on Chicago's South Side,
12:01Ian and Mickey hardly ever wavered.
12:04To be my husband.
12:07To have him to hold you from this day forward, for better or for worse, richer or poorer,
12:15in sickness and in health.
12:17Who else would pull a gun on their own dad to defend their relationship?
12:20Well, actually, either of them probably would do that for any reason.
12:25But that's why they're perfect for each other.

12:47Number one, Chandler and Monica, friends.
12:50You know what's weird?
12:51What?
12:52This doesn't feel weird.
12:53I know.
12:55You're a really good kisser.
12:56Well, I have kissed over four women.
13:00Yeah, they kept us laughing for 10 seasons.
13:03But while Ross and Rachel took all that time to finally commit,
13:06Chandler and Monica were dealing with the heavy stuff.
13:09Their seemingly random hookup at Ross's London wedding in season four
13:13saw the creation of the show's most stable couple.
13:17You guys doing okay?
13:19Yeah.
13:19We talked and Monica made me see that I've overreacted a little bit.
13:23And some things in life are more important.
13:26Yeah, baby.
13:28These two experienced more heartache than was ever fair.
13:32Fans still wipe tears away over the scene where they find out
13:35they probably can't have biological children.
13:38Oh, my God.
13:42I'm sorry.
13:44I'm sorry, too.
13:47Okay.
13:50Well, we're gonna figure this out.
13:57Yeah, I know.
13:59We also get to watch as they come to the conclusion that adoption is right for them.
14:04In the series finale, Chandler and Monica are happy,
14:07married, and the new parents of infant twins.
14:10Look around, you guys.
14:12This was your first home.
14:15And it was a happy place filled with love and laughter.
14:21But more important, because of rent control, it was a friggin' steal.
14:27What TV couple didn't get the happy ending they deserved?
14:31Let us know in the comments.
14:32I don't know.
14:33Somebody who appreciates me.
14:34Somebody who doesn't blow into town with their dysfunctional past
14:37to play mind games with the boy next door.
14:38Somebody who is capable of a healthy, committed relationship.
14:42And unfortunately, somebody nothing like you.
14:46Do you agree with our picks?
