00:00The country is now ready for the arrival of passengers this Holy Week.

00:05The Department of Transportation has also clarified to the United States Post and Travel Advisory.

00:18The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, or CAAP, is preparing for the arrival of passengers next week.

00:27We have a yearly off-land travel schedule for this Holy Week.

00:32We are doing a one-month preparation here.

00:37All of our area center managers at 44 airports are in place.

00:45All of their preparations are in place at 44 commercial airports.

00:49According to the Manila International Airport Authority,

00:5210,000 to 15,000 passengers can be added from the current 135,000 daily average.

01:01The police have already spread around the airport.

01:04Last year, more than a million passengers were brought in during the Holy Week.

01:09The organization and expansion of other airports in the country continues,

01:13including Siargao, Bacolod Silay International Airport, Tacloban, and Zamboanga.

01:18Recently, for the convenience of our passengers at Siargao Airport,

01:24our President Kalim Binz Dizon removed the VIP room

01:29so that there will be extra space for passengers who need to use the airport.

01:37Meanwhile, the Department of Transportation has denied the announcement

01:41by the Transport Security Administration, or TSA of the United States,

01:44where there is a Travel Security Advisory in Naiya.

01:48According to the DOTR, the advisory is outdated.

01:51The TSA of Manila learned that the old Travel Advisory could be reposed by accident in 2018.

01:58It was removed in 2019 by the monitors at Sacramento International Airport in California.

02:03The DOTR and the New Naiya Infrastructure Corporation of NNIC clarified

02:08that there is no new Travel or Security Advisory issued by the US authorities

02:13for passengers heading to Ninoy Aquino International Airport and other airports in the country.

02:18The DOTR Secretary Vince Dizon immediately wrote to the TSA of the United States

02:23and requested that it be clarified immediately and remove the old advisory that was established in the so-called airport.

02:29The TSA of the US announced that the false reminder was removed

02:33that was passed in the Sacramento airport yesterday.

02:36The Department of Homeland Security of the US and the advisory left in 2019

02:41after the widespread upgrades and close coordination of Naiya in the US.

02:45It recognizes the Philippine's adherence to international standards of security.

02:50Since then, there is no new advisory issued against Naiya and other airports in the Philippines.
