00:00Paranaque Integrated Terminal Exchange, or PITX, was prepared early
00:05for the expected increase in passengers this Holy Week.
00:09According to PITX spokesperson Jason Salvador,
00:13it is expected that about 2.3 million passengers will use the terminal
00:18from April 9 until the end of the Holy Week.
00:21On Wednesday and Thursday, they will have the peak,
00:25or the highest arrival of passengers.
00:28Because many commuters will work until the last day before vacation.
00:34As part of the preparation of PITX,
00:37the bus operators, LTFRB, DOTR, LTO, and other agencies
00:43will monitor the passengers' travel and safety.
00:48Salvador also ensured that the buses are roadworthy
00:52and that the drivers are ready to use random drugs and breathalyzer tests.
