00:00Relatives of extrajudicial killing, or EJK, victims have sought the assistance of the
00:06National Bureau of Investigation, or NBI, to address the online bashing they have been
00:11experiencing after the arrest of former President Rodrigo Duterte.
00:15Among those who reached the NBI was Aling Sheila, who recently became a target of online
00:20attacks after a photo of her holding an image of her slain son circulated on social media.
00:27Accompanied by human rights lawyer attorney Christina Conti, the victims' families are
00:31urging the NBI to help identify individuals behind the spread of false information against
00:37them and requested the NBI's assistance in uncovering the real names and addresses of
00:42those allegedly posting fake news online.
00:45The victims also believe that the perpetrators are supporters of former President Duterte.
