Jhajjar, Haryana: South Korea aims to boost investments in India, targeting a two- to threefold increase, said Ambassador Lee Seong-ho on April 4, 2025, at Boditech Med Inc’s new Rs 50 crore facility opening in Haryana’s MET City. The 10,032-square-meter plant will serve India and global markets, aiming for over 5% of India’s IVD market and Rs 650 crore in revenue. Supporting ‘Make in India,’ MET City now hosts over 580 firms, including six Korean ones. Boditech’s CEO, Eui Yul Choi, praised India’s policies and healthcare ecosystem.

02:48And our current sales revenue in India is about 7 billion US dollars
02:55Within five years, we expect we're going to make it 20 million
03:00And in addition, we think within five years, we're going to make around 150 new jobs in Delhi here

03:14Yes, I'm very much interested in not only manufacturing facility
03:20but also the R&D center here
03:23So that means that we're going to have really quality jobs in this factory
03:30Not only just the manufacturing, but also hiring some talented people in this factory
03:37So I think India has very much well-educated masters and PhD students here
03:44So we're going to hire them and develop the product especially in the Indian market
03:52and also some neighboring countries
