00:00The Waqf-e-Sansodhan Bill has passed in both the houses of the 2025 Parliament and it will soon become a law.
00:11After the passing of this bill, there is a wave of happiness in the troubled communities in the country due to the arbitrariness of the Waqf Board and the occupation of land.
00:21Long live the Waqf!
00:27It is obvious that on April 2, during a discussion on this bill in the Lok Sabha, Central Home Minister Amit Shah told the Sadan that how the people sitting in the Waqf Board in different parts of the country are claiming their claim on the government land along with the land of Hindus and other religions.
00:45The Delhi Waqf Board has declared the land of North Railway in the name of Waqf.
00:51In Himachal Pradesh, by claiming the property of Waqf, they have made a mosque on it.
00:59The Waqf has been included in 12 villages of 250 hectares of land in Tamil Nadu.
01:08And the 400-acre land of Tiruchendurai Temple, which is 1,500 years old, has been declared as the property of Waqf.
01:22Vijaypur, Karnataka's Honwad village has been declared as the property of Waqf by claiming 1,500 acres of land.
01:31And the land worth Rs. 500 crores has been given a 5-star hotel with a monthly rent of Rs. 12,000.
01:43In Karnataka, they have claimed the land of Datta Peeth Temple.
01:49In Taliparamba, which is 75 years old, they have claimed 600 acres of land on the basis of a boat.
01:58And the Christian community has also been seized on a lot of land.
02:06In Telangana, they have claimed the land worth Rs. 66,000 crores worth of 1,700 acres of land.
02:15In Assam, they have claimed 134 acres of land belonging to Morigaon district.
02:22They have given 14 acres of land belonging to Haryana, which is related to Gurudwara, to Waqf.
02:29And in Prayag Raj, Chandrashekhar Azad Park has also been declared as the property of Waqf.
02:40And in Maharashtra's Vadange village, they have claimed the land of Mahadev Temple.
02:47And in Beed, they have claimed 12 acres of land belonging to Kankaleshwar Temple.
02:54In Trichy, Tamil Nadu, in Teru Chandhurai village, the Waqf Board has claimed 400 acres of land belonging to Tiruchendurai Chandrashekhar Temple, which is 1500 years old.
03:05This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and its history is centuries old.
03:12After the claim of the Waqf Board, the situation has become such that the villagers have to take NOC from the Waqf Board to sell or transfer their land.
03:23According to the villagers, in the year 2022, the Waqf Board had put its claim on the entire village.
03:30But now after the Waqf compensation bill has been passed, the people of Tiruchendurai village are happy.
03:35And they are saying that the people of other parts of the country will also benefit from this.
03:41There were hardly any Muslim settlements in this village, you know, till 2002.
03:46And now you have a mosque also, but it's come pretty recently.
03:50Maybe I would say that in the new millennia it has come.
03:53So, with this being the background, suddenly one day an agriculturist or a farmer goes to sell his land, basically to perform the marriage of his daughter, I guess.
04:05And this was somewhere in September 2022.
04:08And when the sub-register office refused to register the land, saying that the Waqf has claimed the ownership of the entire village, 360 acres of the entire village.
04:19So, they were asking this gentleman to go to the Waqf Board and get a No Objection Certificate, feeling which he will not be in a position to transfer the land.
04:30Which means, you know, you can't get Patta, you can't get, you know, all your documents are of absolutely no use.
04:36Decided that the Section 40 of the Waqf Board Act has been repelled and as a result of which these kind of disputes are going to come to an end and conflicts are not going to be there.
04:47And I hope that several other properties across the country, the villagers and the owners would also feel the same.
04:56Something similar happened in Honbal village in Vijaypur district of Karnataka.
05:00The Waqf Board sent a notice to the farmers claiming the land of this village and asked them to vacate their land.
05:10Not only that, this land worth Rs. 500 crores of the Waqf Board was going to be given to a 5-star hotel on a monthly rent of only Rs. 1200.
05:19But now this will not be possible and the farmers of the village will get their land back.
05:26The strict governance of the Waqf Board has been repelled and a new Waqf Act has been passed.
05:34On this, I would like to extend a warm welcome to the Prime Minister of the country, Mr. Narendra Modi ji,
05:39and the Village Minister, Mr. Anusha ji, and the Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Kiran Vijay ji, and all the leaders of India.
05:50Last year, in Vijaypur district of Karnataka, a land worth Rs. 1500 crores was being vacated by the farmers.
06:01The Waqf Board sent a notice to the farmers claiming the land of this village and asked them to vacate their land.
06:11But now this will not be possible and the farmers of the village will get their land back.
06:26According to the villagers of Khonwal, the Waqf Board will be implemented in other parts of Karnataka as well.
06:32And in Chikmangalur district, the 10-feet temple of Parnadek will also be freed from the Waqf Board.
06:39In Karnataka, the 10-feet temple of Parnadek will be freed from the Waqf Board.
06:50Even in Puran, the 10-feet temple of Parnadek will be freed from the Waqf Board.
06:56We will get our land back.
07:00Even after taking this law, the Waqf Board has been cancelled.
07:08We are very thankful to the Waqf Board.
07:11The Waqf Board has tried to capture Jathlana Gurdwara in Yamuna Nagar of Haryana by claiming it to be a mosque.
07:18For many years, this dispute has been in the court.
07:21As a result, no development work is being done in the Gurdwara and it is turning into a ruin.
07:27After the Waqf Board Bill was passed in the Parliament, there is a wave of happiness in the Sikh and Hindu communities of the village.
07:36When the Punjabi people had to leave their homes and come here from Pakistan in 1947,
07:43at that time, we were alerted in different places.
07:47In Jathlana, a family got a place in the Gurdwara.
07:54At that time, we were very poor.
07:58At that time, we could not build the Gurdwara, so we did not build it for some time.
08:02Because we came empty-handed from there.
08:04After that, in 1968, we were sued by the Waqf Board.
08:11The Waqf Board sued us.
08:13At that time, our district was called Kurukshetra.
08:19In Kurukshetra, we won several cases.
08:24But after that, they sued us again.
08:27Sometimes they win, sometimes we win.
08:30That is why we have not kept a brick in the Gurdwara as per the law of the Gurdwara.
08:38This place of the Gurdwara was allotted to my grandfather in 1947 after partition.
08:43And along with it, 18 acres of land was also given to him by the Waqf.
08:47Later, the Waqf made it their own and claimed it.
08:50And they also removed us from that land.
08:53And the case is still going on.
08:55And now we have this hope from the law that maybe we will get it back.
09:02There are thousands of such cases in different parts of the country.
09:05Where the Waqf Board has claimed the land and religious sites of the common people.
09:10It is hoped that after the expiration of the Waqf Consolidation Bill,
09:14such incidents will be controlled.
09:16And wherever disputes are going on because of the claims of the Waqf Board,
09:20there will be justice for the people.
