00:00Seven years ago to this day, I was withdrawing from fentanyl and meth in a detox in Palm Springs, California.
00:07It was the sixth time I had been to treatment in a matter of two years.
00:10And the three days leading up to me going into treatment were absolute hell.
00:16I was literally on the verge of death and my family did an intervention on me and transported me to the airport to go to treatment.
00:24It was so bad that my parents were literally planning my funeral while I was still alive.
00:29Fast forward to today, and I just celebrated seven years of freedom from active addiction.
00:35And today, this is what my life looks like.
00:41I just transported a young man that I did an intervention on to a treatment center here in Thailand.
00:47And the reason that I'm sharing this with you is because at one point in my life, seven years ago, my parents did an intervention on me and had to transport me to treatment.
00:57But today, I'm able to do that for other people.
01:00And I'm able to come to incredible places like this, when before, I could barely even make it out of my hometown.
01:09Don't tell me that you can't get sober and create a beautiful life for yourself.
