00:00I had a very, I would say, good meeting with the Secretary of State, our first meeting
00:20in person.
00:22This topic was not on the agenda, on the agreed agenda for many reasons, among them that Greenland
00:27wasn't present.
00:28And we have this idea of nothing about Greenland without Greenland.
00:32But of course I took the opportunity to very strongly object to claims and presidential
00:39statements of a vision of acquire Greenland.
00:44It has amounted to a situation where it's not within the limits of international law.
00:52It's amounted to a situation where I only can describe it as an attack on Danish sovereignty
00:58of the Kingdom of Denmark.
01:01And I made that very, very clear.
01:02To protect and secure Greenland and the area.
01:07What is your response?
01:08And I'm also, you know, perhaps optimistic is too strong a word, but I recognize that
01:16the Vice President, when he visits his own military installation in Greenland, emphasized
01:22not once, but two times, I guess three times, that they respect the self-determination of
01:28the Greenlandic people.
01:31But regardless of that, we have seen these statements from the President and we can't
01:39accept that.
01:40And I made it very, very clear.
01:41Let's talk about using military force against Denmark in order to take Greenland by force.
01:46Greenland, what means they're prepared to use to carry them out?
01:50And also, second question, have you raised this?
01:52We could start discussions immediately about how to avoid building up trade wars, but we
01:59can't control American strategy.
02:02So they have taken these steps, phase one with the steel and aluminum, and then yesterday
02:09more broadly.
02:10And hopefully we could soon come, after a European response to a situation where we
02:13can discuss how could we establish a level playing field which will allow our businesses
02:20to trade and interact.
