China’s commerce ministry has hit back at the announcement of a 34% levy on Chinese goods, on top of the 20% tariff that U.S. President Donad Trump imposed earlier this year. It said the tariffs “violate international trade rules, severely infringe the legitimate rights of relevant parties and represent a typical act of unilateral bullying.”
