China’s commerce ministry spokesperson, He Yongqian, has strongly urged the United States on Thursday February 13, to abandon its ‘zero sum mentality’ after U.S President Donald Trump has increased tariffs on steel and aluminium imports from 10% to 25% this week.

The spokesperson called the move “typical unilateralist and protectionist" and urged the U.S. to "reconsider its course of action”.
