00:00Here's today's Derbyshire Times video bulletin.
00:04A Derbyshire man has been jailed after he admitted concealing a camera in a clock and
00:08charging station to spy on the victim and record footage of them without their knowledge.
00:13Jonathan Clark, 59, was arrested after police received a report that a hidden camera had
00:18been set up in a private space used by the victim.
00:21Clark's devices were searched and images and footage of the victim that he had recorded
00:25via the hidden camera were found, as well as a recording of him setting up the device.
00:30A number of indecent images of children were also found during the search.
00:34Clark, of Weaver's Way in South Normanton, pleaded guilty to voyeurism, installing equipment
00:39with the intent to commit voyeurism, and taking and making indecent images of children.
00:45He was handed a two-year prison term during a hearing at Derby Crown Court.
00:49Detective Constable Ruth Robinson, officer in the case, said,
00:52Jonathan Clark is a manipulative offender whose deception hid his sinister motives,
00:57which centred around his own gratification.
01:00A prison sentence will not undo the invasion of privacy that the victim was subjected to,
01:04but hopefully it will offer some closure.
01:07We know that voyeurism can be a gateway offence that leads to further serious sexual offences,
01:12which is why we take any reports of it extremely seriously, and would encourage anyone affected
01:16by it to report it to us.
01:22Live music and a friendly atmosphere have propelled the Chesterfield bar onto the shortlist
01:26for a regional award.
01:27Armistead's, on Corporation Street, is in the running for the best bar in a competition
01:32run by lifestyle website Muddy Stilettos.
01:35The bar's general manager Luke Waller, 23, said,
