00:00It's a Wednesday, which means it's time for Pure Hoops with Terp. Twitch chat all fired
00:14up. Eve from Brockton looking forward to some Pure Hoops, as does everybody out there. Your
00:18weekly look at the Red Hot Celtics. 6-0 on that road trip, Terp, and it feels like they
00:24never lose these days.
00:25No, not at all. 25-5 in their last 30, 17-3 since the All-Star break, and 14-1 in March.
00:32That's pretty damn good.
00:34So it is very good. I wonder if Celtics fans fully realize, and you can jump in, 6-1-7,
00:397-7-9, 7-9-3-7, that the Thunder are every bit as hot. And I noticed this yesterday,
00:44or the day prior, when Joe Mizzoula was named Coach of the Month in the East, and then you
00:48see Daniel out West, and whatever, the Celtics went whatever it was this month, 14-1, something
00:53like that. The Thunder were 15-1. And so in this whole stretch, while the Celtics have
00:59been Red Hot, and mostly playing dog crap if we're being honest, the two best teams
01:03they faced in this stretch were still the Cavs and OKC. So that'd be my one little gripe,
01:08my one little nitpick, but the way they're beating up on teams, the way they just went
01:12out West and went 6-6, you expected them to stub their toe somewhere in there, it's
01:16admittedly hard to nitpick anything.
01:17Yeah, especially when you consider they haven't had their full complement for most of these
01:22games. Guys have been in and out of the lineup for the last month, just taking advantage
01:26of the rest, or whatever it may be, different ailments. So the fact that they're doing it,
01:29I understand it is against, like you said, some bad teams, but they've also been very
01:34shorthanded in a lot of these wins.
01:35So let me take that. This might sound like a Jones take, but let me just sort of spit.
01:40So early in the season, they also got out to a crazy good start, right? And then there
01:44was a stretch there where they finally did have all their guys, and they kind of struggled.
01:50And we were trying to figure out like, ah, poor Zingas is back. Why are you struggling
01:53to the Bulls or whatever?
01:54Oh, I like this.
01:56So what I'm saying is, they've now had a long stretch where I can't remember when they
02:00had the full complement of guys. So is there going to be almost like a...
02:04Health bad.
02:05No, no, no, no, no, no. They got to get used to it. Come playoff time, they're like, oh,
02:09we forgot what it was like to have players one through eight that we actually want on
02:13the court playing together.
02:14I think it's more so about the starting five with that, because the rest of it's kind of
02:17mix and match. So really the starting five, I think that matters. And they've had two
02:22games over the stretch where they were together. Granted, Jason Tatum got hurt and won, and
02:26they were kind of limited in foul trouble in both of those games. But I think that's
02:29more directed towards the starting five than it is the team themselves, because Peyton
02:33Pritchard and Sam Hauser, they're going to play the same roles they play now, regardless
02:36of who's on the court in the playoff.
02:39So I don't really think it's a big deal for those guys. Maybe Al Horford getting more
02:43used to coming off the bench, and he was phenomenal off the bench the other night.
02:47You know, it's more so for the starting five, I think. And to that point, like when they
02:51were struggling there, I thought they were really trying to force feed Chris Topps, get
02:54him involved as he came back. And then teams were guarding them differently. All offseason
02:59teams spent watching film on the Celtics trying to stop them. How do you slow them down?
03:04And then the Celtics weren't really prepared for it. It took them a little bit to adjust.
03:08And now I really think they're hitting it running and they figured it out.
03:11So you look at the Celtics and who they played, who they fattened up against.
03:15And I'll give them credit for the totality of what they've done over this stretch.
03:19Like, I can't take much away from any of these games individually. It's hard to do that.
03:23But the totality of it and how hot they are, you have to give them credit.
03:26I didn't even think they'd get to 60 wins. They're going to cruise past 60 wins.
03:30They'll still fall short of their win total a year ago.
03:33They still lost 12 games at home for as good as they've been on the road.
03:36I think you were telling me off the air, they have two road games left,
03:39which means they could match the most road victories in a season
03:42by the Golden State Warriors in 15-16, a year they did not win the NBA championship.
03:47Is there anything they're gunning for down the stretch, team accolades-wise?
03:53And the reason I ask is because Missoula seemed pretty fired up the other day when they went 6-0
03:57on the trip and he was pointing out that this has never been done in Celtics franchise history.
04:01Is there anything like that they're aiming for in these final seven games?
04:04I bet they want to tie that road record. I would think so.
04:07Because I think even watching Celtics City, you kind of get a glimpse of this.
04:11They understand the history, the rich history of this franchise.
04:14And for them to set a franchise record for most wins in Celtics history,
04:19I think that's something they want to do. That's something they are gunning for.
04:22I think more importantly, it's just staying healthy and going into the playoffs hot.
04:27That was a point that they had going into the all-star break that they want to be playing
04:30some of their best basketball, going into the all-star break so they can pick up
04:33where they left off. And they have done that.
04:35I think going into the playoffs, they want to stay hot. They just want to go
04:38in on the right foot. But I also think they're going to be looking at those
04:41games against New York and Miami on the road next week and be like,
04:44well, we have a chance to make history. We want to do it.
04:46I wrote off the one seed in the East a while ago, the start that the Cavs got off to,
04:51and then combined with the middle of the season for the Celtics.
04:54We talked about it last week. I forget. Was it five or six games? Maybe five and a half.
04:57It's now four. I don't know. The Cavs have been playing 500 for a little bit.
05:02The Celtics can't lose. Not that they need it or that they're even going for it,
05:07but what are the chances of them now finishing in the top spot?
05:10Four and seven seems pretty tough because they only have seven games remaining.
05:15We talked about it last week, too. If it came naturally, sure, go all in for it.
05:19Go try to win it. It kind of did, but just because of the limited games they have left
05:25to make up ground, I don't think it is. But it makes that January, December a
05:29little bit tougher when they weren't as good, because you probably could have had the one
05:33seed if that was the case, if you snuck out a couple or if Donovan Mitchell doesn't score 20
05:37on you in the fourth quarter and you lose, or if you don't blow a big lead earlier this month.
05:41But the Cavs had that 16-game winning streak or whatever it was, that insane run. But then
05:47since then, they are four and five in their last nine games. So I don't know what's going on with
05:54them, because we looked at that sort of like projecting forward that that'd be a tough
05:58Eastern Conference Finals. To me, they're still clearly the second-best team in the East,
06:02but is the shine coming off of them overall a little bit?
06:04I mean, in fairness, they have been resting guys, too. But more so, Donovan Mitchell and Darius
06:09Garland have been struggling a little bit, which has added into that. So in fairness, like I said,
06:13though, they have been resting guys, so it's tough to really take away anything from those. And I
06:18think we've been saying it really since December, that it was Cleveland and Boston head and
06:23shoulders above the Eastern Conference. And if you want to throw New York in there, because they're
06:27kind of lurking around at the three-seat, I don't think anyone's worried about that team,
06:31especially Boston and Cleveland. So it is those two guys. Those two teams have been on a crash
06:35course for the Eastern Conference Finals, like we said, for months now. So I don't think it's
06:39going to come as a surprise when we see it. It's Pure Hoops with Terp. Every Wednesday
06:44at high noon, Justin Terpen, weei.com. You can check out his work on Twitter at Justin M. Terpen.
06:51ESPN came out with their monthly MVP straw poll today. I don't know if you've seen this,
06:56but they have a hundred league insiders make their votes, and they kind of give you an idea
07:01what the MVP vote will look like. Top two are SGA and Jokic in that order. Do you agree with that?
07:07I mean, the guy had 60 points, triple, double last night.
07:10I don't know why SGA is number one. He's awesome. They have the best record now in the NBA. He's
07:15terrific. But that is just people sick of voting for Jokic.
07:19Jokic only got 23 first. They were the only two to get first place votes. SGA got 77. Jokic got
07:2423. They flipped four. Jokic has already gotten screwed out of one for voter fatigue.
07:29Seriously, I know. It's going to happen again. Yeah, that's wild. So I wouldn't give it to SGA
07:36either. But again, it's 77-23. They flipped for second. So no one else got a first or second
07:40place vote in the poll. Giannis is third. Tatum is fourth. And he's pretty close to Giannis at
07:47spot number three. Diggers any significance to Tatum won't win it, obviously. It's going to be
07:52SGA or Jokic. And I think we'd all go with Jokic. Is there any significance to him finishing third
07:59in the MVP vote where he'd be one of those three finalists? It would be the highest he's ever
08:03finished. He's finished six twice. He finished fourth two years ago. Is there any significance
08:08to that if he finishes there? I mean, maybe just because you keep seeing a guy finish top three
08:12consistently, it's like, all right, eventually he's going to win one. I don't think that's a
08:15question that eventually Tatum's going to win one. To me, I look at more the second half of
08:19the season. Do you have a question about it? Yeah, I don't think he wins one. You don't think he's
08:22going to win one? No. I think what we're seeing now, there's no doubt if he keeps these assist
08:27numbers up, there's no doubt he wins one. What we're seeing now, he hasn't passed Giannis.
08:30Yeah. No, I think the MVP is tricky. I mean, Kobe Bryant won one. Kobe Bryant is in a lot of people's
08:34top 10 all the time. So I don't think it's a guarantee because Jokic still has a few more
08:39years than him. And then you're going to get a wave of some of these other younger guys.
08:43Wemby? We crowned Wemby, hand over five to Wemby. More likely to win one in his career,
08:49I would say, Wemby than Tatum. Unquestionably. Also, let's see what happens. If they really
08:53blow up the Celtics and there's not a lot of talent around them, that helps them in a weird
08:57way. Because if he's carrying a team to the first or second seed and putting up those numbers,
09:01he's still going to get, oh, you have Jalen Brown. Oh, you have Porzingis. Oh, you have these guys.
09:06So that's going to go against him. But I don't even think that's a real slap in his face to say
09:10he doesn't win one. The league is so insanely talented right now. Just looking at it from the
09:14all-star break, and this probably goes beyond the all-star break, but since then he's averaging 27
09:19points, nine rebounds, seven assists. That's how he's going to win. When he's down to three or four
09:24assists, it's going to be pretty tough. But as long as those assist numbers are up and granted,
09:28we'll see what it looks like next year. We could see changes on the roster, whatever it may be.
09:33But if his assist numbers are up like that, that's how he's going to win it. I think that's
09:36what's been holding him back because at some point winning has to matter. We always hear about
09:42the best player on the best team and him not getting enough attention.
09:44But if winning matters, because you're not voting on the postseason, if winning matters,
09:49SGA is going to have it over Jokic, which I wouldn't give it to him.
09:52And that kind of feels like it's factoring a little bit this year, doesn't it?
09:54Maybe. Yeah, maybe they are voting for that.
09:56In years past, it's been opposite for Tatum.
09:58But I think the problem is when you have a clear-cut second guy, I like Jamal Murray, but
10:03Jokic is the clear-cut guy there. Who even is it on OK?
10:07Jalen Holmgren, Jalen Williams.
10:09Who is it?
10:09Russell Westbrook in Denver.
10:11Yeah, exactly. But the foul on the three-pointer.
10:15That sort of helps those guys, right? Like Curry won it before Durant got there and sort of thing.
10:20Like Giannis, when he won it, it was like, all right, I like Middleton. But Jalen Brown's probably
10:25a better two than a lot of those other guys have had, which might factor into those votings too.
10:30But yeah, I mean, Tatum's having one of his best seasons for sure.
10:33Now, we talked about this last week, the all-NBA barometer for games played.
10:38You have to play, what, 65?
10:3965.
10:40So Jalen Brown is at 59.
10:43At six of the final seven, he'll need to play.
10:45So you think that happens?
10:47It seems like Joe wants to let him do it if he's capable.
10:50And it seems like they've also come to a common agreement here that if he's able to do it and
10:55it doesn't jeopardize his health for the playoffs, he's going to go for it.
10:58But they don't want to risk it.
10:59He's questionable again tonight.
11:01So we'll see.
11:02I think it's something he wants to do, but he is also understanding that they need him perfectly
11:05fine for the playoffs.
11:06Have you crunched the numbers yet on that?
11:08If he hits the threshold, do you think there's enough guys that miss it?
11:13Would he be all-NBA if he hits it?
11:15Because what if he goes for it and then still misses out on it?
11:18There was a couple of guys that are really on the fringe right now of meeting the 65-game
11:23threshold.
11:24So you really won't really know until after.
11:25Let's assume everybody's trying to do the same thing.
11:27Everybody has six, seven, eight games left.
11:28All these guys are going to try if they're healthy enough, we're going to try to get
11:31to that threshold.
11:32Yeah, because Jalen Brunson's four games away and he would get it over Brown.
11:36And he's been dealing with an ankle injury.
11:38Yeah.
11:38Okay.
11:38So who knows?
11:39It's going to be close.
11:40It depends.
11:40Like Kevin Durant is one.
11:42Jalen Brunson's another.
11:43Like if those guys are in, it complicates things.
11:45But as of right now, if those guys don't get in, I can see Jalen getting on the third team.
11:49Absolutely.
11:50I would hate for them to do.
11:51And this is consistent.
11:52I criticize Josh Allen for doing this against the Patriots.
11:55Keeping his stupid starting streak alive by coming out to run one play.
12:01I hope they don't do that with Jalen, where they just wheel him out for a start or two.
12:05He plays two minutes and then hits the bench.
12:07That would be lame.
12:08So I hope they don't do that.
12:10If he's going to play, play.
12:11Well, that's the thing, too, is if he's going out there and he's, first of all, not really
12:15playing much or he's playing poorly, it's going to tank his averages and really kind
12:18of hurt his case.
12:19So it's tough there because you play a minute and go scoreless.
12:23Yeah, right.
12:24That's going to hurt your average.
12:25Good point.
12:26His averages will go down.
12:27And if he shoots poorly, it's not going to help his case either.
12:30And we've talked about this before, and it really shouldn't.
12:33But I think it does.
12:34Jalen also, I think, has some certain some certain cachet because of winning Eastern
12:39Conference Finals and NBA and the NBA Finals MVP like that carries some weight.
12:44And it shouldn't because it's a season award.
12:47But I think when you're looking at guys and how close they are, I think that kind of gives
12:51Jalen a push.
12:52What else is up for grabs for the Celtics?
12:54Missoula, maybe potential coach of the year.
12:57Pritchard, six man.
12:57Like, is that for six man?
12:59Is he?
12:59I think so.
13:00Yeah, I thought I saw Simmons was anti Pritchard.
13:02Bill Simmons is betting odds are pretty telling on those.
13:05And I know that's not the end all be all, but last time I checked, he was up to minus
13:09500.
13:10Oh, wow.
13:11Is that high?
13:12Oh, wow.
13:12DraftKings, he's minus 1400.
13:14Yeah, that is a lot.
13:17He will win the six.
13:18Congrats on the six, man.
13:19Do you have Missoula?
13:20Uh, no, let me get that.
13:21And I'm guessing he's not.
13:22I mean, I would think Daniel would get it before him.
13:24Kenny Atkinson.
13:25Atkinson is a really good one here, but he's not even in the top four.
13:29It's Atkinson staff across that one out.
13:32That doesn't surprise me.
13:34I mean, he gets a lot of he gets overlooked a little bit because of the roster, I think.
13:38Yeah, that's tough.
13:39It's tough to know when a guy's only had a great roster, right?
13:43When a lot of games, how much credit do you give him or whatever?
13:45But because he didn't finish fair, if I'm not mistaken, he didn't finish too high last
13:49year.
13:50I think he was outside the top three last year, I think.
13:52And obviously, Brad Stevens got executive of the year.
13:54So that kind of goes hand in hand.
13:56But yeah, all right.
13:58Celtic City, the latest episode.
13:59We're now right in the middle of the HBO series, and we got mid 80s.
14:06We got Bird Magic.
14:07We got Celtics Lakers.
14:09And then it sort of ends with the drafting of Len Bias.
14:13What jumped out to you from this episode?
14:14I mean, something that's been a consistent theme throughout this entire thing is how
14:18much these losses still bother these guys.
14:20They're still furious.
14:21On both sides.
14:22On both sides.
14:23Worthy's still seething over some of these losses.
14:26It's so different.
14:27It's so different.
14:28It was so much better then.
14:29This is the classic, we're old and things were better when I was young and that kind
14:33of thing.
14:33But it's so true watching these guys.
14:35Jerry West is disgusted even talking about it.
14:38James Worthy's like, leave these guys.
14:41He literally took that to the grave, how upset he was about all these games.
14:44Larry Bird beats him in 84, and he's like, yeah, that's for Indiana State.
14:48From when they lost the head-to-head matchup in college, those guys cared so much about
14:52it.
14:52And then when he was talking about it, he's like, I really meant that.
14:54He looked emotional.
14:55He was like tearing up over that.
14:58Yeah.
14:58These guys cared so much.
14:59How much they cared.
15:00Also, that Game 5 story with the 97 degrees, no AC, guys are taking off their shirts in
15:06the locker room, dumping water.
15:07That's insane.
15:08I guess what jumps out to me is there was a lot more turmoil with the 80s Celtics than
15:13maybe I realized.
15:14Oh, big time.
15:16They get to lend bias at the end of the episode, which I have a separate thought on, but it's
15:19like, all right, so they quit on Bill Fitch in 83.
15:22Everybody but Bird.
15:23Bird is pissed at all of them.
15:25I kind of loosely remembered the Mac stuff where he wasn't in shape and players thought
15:31he was dogging it.
15:31He's like, I wasn't dogging it.
15:33Red traded him for Bill Walton.
15:35But trading Gerald Henderson after he has the biggest player of the series in 84.
15:39So you have that, you also have Bird screwing up his hand, that Shaughnessy report in a
15:45bar fight.
15:46There was a lot more.
15:47How about Bird calling out Parrish for his contract and being like, dude, we got a good
15:51bench.
15:51And then Parrish didn't have his back.
15:53That's why I didn't get in the fight with them.
15:54Parrish didn't have his back in the fight.
15:56And so it's like there was a lot more turmoil with the team that I guess I fully gave it
16:01credit for.
16:01I think that jumps out in these last couple episodes.
16:03The stuff we were talking about this year, we're talking about Marcian commenting on
16:07Swayman's contract.
16:08And then I brought up the example of 20 years ago when Brett Favre brought up Javon Walker.
16:13And it's usually sort of an unspoken thing.
16:15Let your teammate get as much money as they can, support them and move on.
16:18You might have your feelings about it.
16:19Bird didn't with Parrish.
16:20Bird did not at all.
16:21He's like, we got a good depth.
16:22Bird's like, yeah, we have to go somewhere else.
16:23We have go play somewhere else.
16:25We have guys on the bench.
16:27No, but to Keith's point.
16:29Oh, no, he was.
16:30But it was like they didn't really all get along.
16:33That was like Marcian and Swayman to a degree.
16:36But the big swings too when they would flash up the scores.
16:40And this is why it's our job to overreact to one game.
16:44But in a seven game series, when one of the teams loses by like 30 points and you're like
16:49and birds like we don't have tough guys on this team.
16:51You're like, oh, that series is over.
16:53They want it.
16:53It also feels like every series goes to seven.
16:56Like all of them.
16:57Pretty much everyone on the show feels like it goes to seven.
16:59And there's a different fight.
17:00I'll tell you all the fights.
17:01I love the fights.
17:02Then they stay in the game.
17:03Yeah, no, they all stay.
17:05We're still talking about the NBA fight from last week.
17:07It's like, oh, yeah, those guys get people get suspended.
17:10These guys are finishing playoff games, attacking fans and whatnot.
17:13It's insane.
17:13It's wild.
17:14The mythology, though.
17:15And it's like, I can't.
17:16I got to be honest.
17:17We're five episodes in.
17:18I can't take another cut to a fake cigar getting smoked by red.
17:21I can't take a lot of red smoke.
17:23The stupid fake cigar must happen five times an episode.
17:26It's so annoying every time they do it.
17:28He smokes cigars.
17:29So I get it.
17:29Victory cigar.
17:30I get it.
17:31And you don't.
17:31He's not living.
17:32He's not alive.
17:32So you can't film a new interview with him.
17:34So you got to do something to fill the time.
17:36I get it.
17:36But it's like, God, how many times do I see the cut of the smoking cigar?
17:40The mythology of the 86 Celtics to me is a bit much.
17:42Bob Ryan's like they line up and beat anyone.
17:44Like, get out of my face.
17:46They might be the best team of all time.
17:48They're on the short list.
17:49They got the Rockets in the finals, which I know isn't their fault.
17:52They were pissed, too.
17:52They were mad.
17:53They said all they did after 85 was talk about the Lakers.
17:55They didn't get them.
17:56I don't even know that the 86 Celtics would beat the Lakers.
17:58They did not in 87.
17:59So I don't even know that about them.
18:00Never mind.
18:01They beat every team in the history of the sport.
18:02They beat that Ralph Sampson, though.
18:03They did.
18:04Take that, Ralph Sampson.
18:05So the mythology with the 86, every pass was behind their back and all this stuff.
18:09That mythology gets a little nauseating.
18:10Quite the highlights in there, though.
18:11They did.
18:12Dude, they could run a break.
18:13They did.
18:13The other thing that gets to be a bit much, and it's a tragedy with Len Bias,
18:17but the idea that he was the next Michael Jordan.
18:20Listen, that's the thing.
18:21It was in college.
18:23They had a little matchup.
18:24It looked great.
18:25We don't know.
18:26It's a great unknown.
18:27It's one of the all time what ifs.
18:28So again, he's the next Michael Jordan.
18:29Why wasn't he the first pick in the draft?
18:31Why were the Celtics getting it, too?
18:32Was Michael Jordan the first pick in the draft?
18:33No, he wasn't.
18:33Fair point.
18:34Was he the second pick in the draft?
18:35He drafted ahead of Jordan.
18:36Maybe it was about the big man.
18:39Brad Doherty went before him.
18:42Guys can't miss.
18:42He's the best player since Jordan.
18:43Oh, yeah.
18:44The Celtics got him at two.
18:45It's like, that would have been a great player.
18:46It would have made a difference.
18:48Greg Oden got picked over Kevin Durant.
18:49They're also trying to set up these individual rivalries.
18:51You just had Bird and Magic, and that was coming towards the end.
18:55Yeah, no, I think it was.
18:56It was going to be Bias and Jordan.
18:58Yep, it would have been.
18:59Because 86 was also the year that Jordan had.
19:01The Cavs thought it was going to be Jordan and Brad Doherty.
19:03They don't shy away from it.
19:04They thought that Bird and Magic saved the league.
19:07Was it 86 when Jordan had the 63 against the Celtics?
19:10That was in the first round, I believe, against the 86 Celtics.
19:12Yeah, I'm surprised they didn't really mention.
19:14Now, they mentioned Jordan.
19:15I'll be honest, but I'm surprised they didn't throw him in there.
19:17For as much as they've slow played the history of the Celtics,
19:20I kind of thought they flew through the 80s.
19:21I needed a longer episode from that, even if it's just 84, 85, 86.
19:27I kind of thought they flew through that, to be honest.
19:28And I criticized them for slow playing stuff.
19:30I thought they kind of flew through that.
19:32And we know the Celtics don't win another title for 22 years, right?
19:35I was actually sitting there last night.
19:36I was like, wait, we're already on 16 here.
19:38Well, it's funny, because they're counting all the titles.
19:39And you're counting them so fast with Russell.
19:42And you're like, oh, they're up to 11.
19:43Then it's like, all right, now 16.
19:45And you're like, oh, it's going to be a minute.
19:47I thought the 86 part would be longer.
19:48Just the way people talk.
19:50Even in the dock, they were talking about them.
19:51Like, they would still beat anybody.
19:53I thought that'd be longer.
19:54I liked the guys from New Edition, who earlier on, I was like, eh, whatever.
19:58But this is pretty funny when they're like, yeah, we sold out a little bit.
20:01They're like, we're in the thing with the link.
20:02I didn't know that.
20:04Magic Johnson?
20:05It was slightly before my time.
20:06But they were like, yeah, we kind of need to do this.
20:07I'm like, I get it.
20:08Yeah.
20:08I get why you did it.
20:10What was it?
20:10Was it Magic Johnson?
20:11Or was it a Magic Johnson jersey?
20:12No, Magic Johnson was in one of their music videos.
20:15Yeah, yeah, yeah.
20:16And I was like, that's not even kind of selling out.
20:19They were like, oh, no, we sold out.
20:23That was interesting.
20:24I loved it last night.
20:25I thought the whole 80s thing has been great.
20:27I believe when they did their big red carpet thing.
20:31This is the episode they showed everybody, I believe.
20:34I think I read that.
20:35So you remember how they had the whole thing?
20:36And they invited a bunch of people to see it.
20:38Because you're like, well, you can't show all nine episodes.
20:40This was kind of like their red carpet.
20:42This was the one.
20:42So this might be the best episode.
20:44We'll see.
20:45Obviously, I'm going to watch the rest of it.
20:46But this was pretty strong.
20:47That Len Bias one seems like it's going to be really interesting.
20:49Yeah.
20:50Just the way they left it off.
20:51Did you see that?
20:52They did a 30 for 30 on Len Bias.
20:53I don't know if you ever saw that.
20:54Yeah, that was pretty good, too.
20:56Was that produced by Simmons?
20:57Yeah, it would have already would have been.
21:00So Len Bias and Reggie is what we can kind of assume.
21:03I would assume so.
21:04Yeah.
21:04And then you have 2008.
21:07You have, what, one or two on the newest team?
21:09Probably.
21:10Yeah.
21:10If that.
21:11And that's what you get.
21:12Are they going to do an episode on Isaiah Thomas?
21:15No, no, no.
21:16Just kidding.
21:17Maybe the other Isaiah Thomas going up against him.
21:19They had a good little rivalry with the Pistons there for a minute.
21:21The Pistons kind of went from Celtics, Pistons, Bulls.
21:24Pistons sort of bridged that gap.
21:27But no, look, I think these last two episodes have been the best.
21:30If anything, for all the slow playing they did in the 60s, I thought they kind of flew through
21:3484, 85, 86.
21:36It's every Wednesday high noon here with Terp.
21:38We call it Pure Hoops with Terp every Wednesday.
21:40Terp, thanks for taking the time.
21:41All right, see you guys.
