00:16This would be very difficult for Trump to enact in the courts because ultimately each
00:20state is the judge of its own elections and who is allowed to appear on the ballot.
00:25So the New Hampshire Supreme Court and the Wisconsin Supreme Court might each give different
00:31verdicts, but it will be very difficult for Trump to appear on any ballot.
00:35I think this is mostly in jest at the moment.
00:38He likes to propose ideas like this to sort of annoy some of his domestic critics, partly
00:44because again, elections are not determined by the president, they're determined by the
00:48states and he does not control the state governments.
