00:00Sure. And I mean, you know, up until now, he's tended to regard President Zelensky as
00:05being the difficult party here. Do you think he's perhaps having a bit of a rethink? Do
00:10you think perhaps there is a bit of a rethink happening in the Trump administration about
00:15how to approach President Putin, for example?
00:18If there's a rethink, I think it has to do with a relationship with Putin, not with Zelensky.
00:22I think they're pretty firm in the fact that they don't trust Zelensky. Look, there's a
00:26long history that isn't well known internationally. And this is one of my frustrations, especially
00:31when I deal with my European friends, is that Ukraine has been and continues to be one of
00:37the most corrupt places on the face of the planet. We actually had special rules on the
00:41books here in the United States about dealing with Ukraine, even when it came to U.S. foreign
00:47aid. It is and was a very corrupt place. And that colors, I think, a lot of Trump's opinions
00:53about Zelensky and about Ukraine, generally speaking. I don't think that is going through
00:58a rethink here today.
