00:00If you're one of those who are worried about artificial intelligence taking your job, don't be.
00:05At least that's what the CEO of job search platform Indeed is saying.
00:09Company CEO Chris Himes, speaking with CNBC's Make It,
00:12says that about two thirds of the jobs listed on Indeed require skills that AI could perform.
00:17And with more than 300 million job seekers heading to the platform each month,
00:21that could lead to a lot of trepidation.
00:24But as of February 2025, Himes says there was no job posting on Indeed
00:28that AI could perform entirely on its own.
00:31And more than that, the CEO claims AI will never be able to fully do some of the required tasks,
00:36saying AI can't do math very well.
00:38It can't draw an IV very well.
00:40You can't have zero customer service reps or replace them with AI.
00:44The U.S. added 151,000 jobs in February, about 20,000 less than what was expected.
00:50The March jobs report will be released on Friday, April 4th.
00:53That'll do it for your daily briefing.
00:55For New York City, I'm Kelsea Barberio with The Street.
