00:29This is a special segment of Nehmat-e-Iftar, Islah-e-Muashara
00:33And I am your host, Dr. Sarwar Hussain Naqshbandi
00:36These are the last moments of Ramadan
00:40And pray that Allah accepts everyone's worship in this blessed month
00:45Accept everyone's charity and good deeds in His court
00:49Accept everyone's prostrations, recitation of the Holy Quran and all good deeds in this blessed month
00:58And if there is any lack of respect in this blessed month, then may Allah forgive it
01:05And may Allah enable us to always respect and honor it
01:11We are going to introduce you to the topic of a hadith of the Holy Prophet
01:22The Holy Prophet taught us how to maintain a balance in our relations with people
01:35And it is a very beautiful hadith
01:38And the topic that we are going to talk about is very beautiful
01:47Because it is about the Holy Prophet
01:51Bismillah-ir-Rahman-ir-Rahim
01:53The Holy Prophet said
02:09The Holy Prophet said that you should maintain a balance in your love with your friend
02:15It is possible that one day he becomes your enemy
02:19The Holy Prophet said that you should maintain a balance in your enmity with your enemy
02:26It is possible that one day he becomes your friend
02:29The Holy Prophet taught us how to maintain a balance in our relations with people
02:37And he gave us the ability to understand this
02:40When we maintain a relationship with someone, we go beyond our limits
02:45And in a human behavior, there is an atmosphere of jealousy and anger
02:51And everything that we have shared with him becomes a source of problem for us
02:58And the Holy Prophet said that you should maintain a balance in your enmity with your enemy
03:02And it is possible that for some reason our relationship is established
03:06And we have to end that enmity
03:08And the things that are beyond our limits become a reason to damage that relationship
03:15May Allah give us the ability to act
03:17Today our topic is Khidmat-e-Khalq
03:19So the topics that we talked about on a daily basis
03:22The topics that we talked about on a daily basis
03:27The topics that we talked about on a daily basis
03:31The topics that we talked about on a daily basis
03:37The topic that we talked about
03:40Today our topic is Khidmat-e-Khalq

08:54Karam se Hussain bulaand
09:09Roze jaza bhi unki shifaat ki aas hai
09:25Ya rab meri yeh shamo sehr-e-timas hai
09:44Masha'Allah, Masha'Allah
09:45Salaam-o-Alaikum, Mr. Irfan Waheed
09:47What a beautiful speech you have given
09:49Mufti sahab, let's start the discussion
09:52Khidmat-e-Khalq is our topic and the importance of it is mentioned in the Quran and Hadith
09:59Bismillah-ir-Rahman-ir-Rahim
10:00Allahumma salli ala Muhammadin wa ala alihi wa sahbihi wa sallim wa taslima
10:04First of all, I would like to congratulate Dr. Sarwassan Naqshbandi sahab and the entire team of Airway Channel
10:11that in this holy month, such topics were discussed which are a source of true Khidmat for humanity
10:19And in the end, we will talk about all aspects of Khidmat-e-Khalq
10:24Allah, the Lord of Glory, has revealed a chapter in the Holy Qur'an about human beings
10:28wal-asri innal insana lafee khusra
10:30Allah says, I swear by the time of Muhammad, all human beings are in loss
10:34But who is not?
10:35aamanu wa aamilus salihat
10:37wa tawasawu bil haqqi wa tawasawu bil sabr
10:40They make a will for each other for truth and a will for patience
10:45The aspect of truthfulness and patience in Khidmat-e-Khalq has been revealed first
10:49Allah, the Lord of Glory, has said about Hazrat Ali al-Murtaza Shirkhudda
10:55the holy person of Allah and Sayyidat-e-Tayyaba Hazrat Fatimah al-Zahra
11:01wa yateemun at-ta'aam ala hubbihi miskeena wa yateema wa aseera
11:04These people feed people on the way of Allah, sometimes orphans, sometimes poor, sometimes captives
11:10And when they feed, they say, I am feeding you not for any purpose, but only for the pleasure of Allah
11:17These qualities are in reference to Allah, the Lord of Glory, Khidmat-e-Khalq
11:20The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, has said in Musnad-e-Aamal Sharif
11:26khairun naasi mayanfa'un naas
11:28The best among people is the one who benefits the people
11:31And in the court of Hadith-e-Bukhari, it was asked, who is the best in Islam?
11:36Allah's Prophet, tell me, who has the highest Islam?
11:39The Prophet said, ifsha'us salaam wa yateemun at-ta'aam
11:42Two qualities that are clearly present in it
11:45Number one is to greet people and then feed people
11:48Now look, Salam
11:49Mufti sahib, let's connect from here, a small Waqfah, viewers stay with us, we will return after a brief Waqfah
11:55Viewers, welcome, after the Waqfah, you are watching Islah-e-Muashera
12:00And today we are talking about Khidmat-e-Khalq
12:02And suddenly the break came and we will connect the conversation from there, Mufti sahib
12:06You mentioned ifsha'us salaam and yateemun at-ta'aam
12:10Yes, in ifsha'us salaam, I was saying that in the religion of Islam, the beginning of purity is with Salam
12:16When a person says to another, Assalamu alaikum
12:18Then he is giving him the message that your honour is safe with me
12:22Your self is safe with me, your wealth is safe with me
12:24He says, wa alaikumussalam, then he also gives a testimony
12:27Like in Hadith-e-Bukhari, the Prophet said
12:28la jastaqeemu imaanu mu'minin hatta jastaqeemu qalbuhu
12:32Till that time, a Muslim's faith does not become straight until his heart becomes straight
12:36Then he said, till that time his heart does not become straight until his tongue becomes straight
12:40Then he said, la jastaqeemu imaanu mu'minin hatta jastaqeemu qalbuhu
12:42That person cannot go to heaven
12:44Whose tongue and hands do not protect the rest of the people
12:47This is the beginning of the peace of Islam, which starts with Salam
12:50Subhanallah, Professor Taimoor Farooqi sahib
12:54To help others, to serve them, to help them
13:00Or to facilitate them in any way, while remaining in one's position
13:04To try to alleviate their sorrows
13:08So how important is this
13:10And the message we get in Seerat-e-Taiba
13:14Or the lesson we get
13:16Or it has been advised that how you have to do it
13:19Please give us some guidance on that
13:20I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan
13:22In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
13:24Doctor sahib, actually today's session is about serving the people
13:29And the question you asked about this
13:33How do we get the light of this in the Seerat-e-Mutahara of the Prophet
13:40So first of all, I would like to say
13:42That serving the people is such a vast act
13:47It is the best act that gives life to a person's soul
13:52And it can be related to an individual as well as to the whole society
13:57And when a person takes the passion of serving the people
14:01And goes out to love and serve others
14:04Allah the Lord of Glory not only grants him worldly
14:07But also gives him other blessings
14:10I would like to talk to Hazrat Ali Karmallahu Wajahul Kareem
14:14That you said a beautiful thing about the Seerat of the Prophet
14:19You said that the Prophet used to love people
14:23He used to make people close to him
14:25But the Prophet used to make those close to him
14:28Who used to love people
14:30Who used to help people
14:33He used to be helpful in their religious and worldly matters
14:37Now if we look at the Seerat-e-Tayyabah of the Prophet
14:41We should remember that there are thousands of religions in the world
14:45And if we read all the religions and understand them
14:49Then no religion has given as much importance to the service of humanity as Islam has
14:57If we look at it collectively
14:59If we look at the whole building of Islam
15:03Then I can say that 25-30% are matters of worship
15:07The remaining 70-75% are matters of society
15:12And the remaining 70% are matters of charity
15:15And if we look at the Seerat of the Prophet
15:18He used to help the poor
15:21He used to help the orphans
15:23He used to help the widows
15:25And he used to help the poor orphans
15:30I would like to say one last thing
15:32If we look at Sayyeda Khadijat-ul-Kubra
15:35When the first revelation of the Prophet was revealed in Ghar-e-Hira
15:40Sayyeda Khadijat-ul-Kubra was asked to cover his face
15:43And the words of Sayyeda Khadijat-ul-Kubra
15:45Which he said in front of the Prophet
15:47Were that Allah will never harm you
15:51He will always help you
15:52Why?
15:53Because you help others
15:54You serve the guests
15:56You treat the poor people well
15:58These were the motivational words of Sayyeda Khadijat-ul-Kubra
16:01Which he said in front of the Prophet
16:04Mufti Sahab, our worship
16:07Where there is a community
16:09Where there is no difference between the rich and the poor
16:15In fact, everyone is gathered in one place
16:17Imam Udayaz stood in one row
16:20There was no one left
16:22So this community
16:24Does not make us stand with others
16:29To help them in their difficulties
16:32Or at least to bring us in an environment of equality
16:36And build our worship
16:38You are absolutely right
16:40This is the thing of Islam
16:42Because of this, Islam has spread very easily
16:45The Hadith of Aswad Rai
16:47Which is present in Tirmidhi Sharif
16:48That the Prophet was standing in the midst of a war
16:51On top of that, a Jew came down
16:53Who was a black slave
16:55He asked people, why have you come here?
16:57It was told that we have come for the propagation of religion
16:59And we have to spread the religion
17:00He said, what does your religion say?
17:02When the Companions spoke to him
17:04The Companions said, if you want
17:06We can take you to our master
17:08So for Aswad Rai
17:10It was very strange
17:12That a leader of a tribe
17:14Will talk to a person like me?
17:16He said, yes, the Prophet will talk to you
17:18He came to the court of the Prophet
17:20And after coming to the court, he recited the Kalima
17:22He asked the Prophet, what should I do now?
17:24The Prophet said, it is not the time for prayer
17:26Nor is it the time for fasting
17:28Go to the battlefield
17:30That person started fighting and was martyred
17:32And it is narrated in the Hadith that when his body was taken
17:34The Prophet looked at it and said
17:36What kind of a person is he?
17:38Who did not pray, fast, do Hajj or give Zakat
17:42But he is going to heaven
17:44The angels are proud of him
17:46Hazrat Abdullah bin Salam
17:48Who was the greatest scholar of Judaism
17:50And was one of the children of Moses
17:52He said, when I came to the court of the Prophet
17:54When the Prophet came
17:56I was in Medina
17:58People came to meet me
18:00When I saw the Prophet's face
18:02I understood
18:04This face is not of a liar
18:06At that time I heard the Prophet's tongue
18:08What was the Prophet saying?
18:22How beautiful were the words
18:24Give Islam to the common people
18:26Collect people
18:28Feed them
18:30When people have slept, worship
18:32In this way you will enter heaven
18:34This obedience
18:36And the place where
18:38You have given this sign
18:40It is the biggest symbol of peace
18:42And Allah
18:44The Prophet
18:46This selfishness
18:48And the dislikeness of humans
18:50Humans are unsatisfied
18:52will be of this nature. So, in the eyes of Allah, this act of selfishness and indifference is disliked. What do you say?
19:00Dr. Sahib, selfishness and indifference is such a bad act that it takes away the personality of a human being.
19:09And there is a holy verse in the Holy Qur'an,
19:17that the believers are told that they give preference to others despite their needs.
19:25So, if the nature of the believers is that they give preference to others for their needs,
19:31in contrast, there are those who show indifference and indifference,
19:36who always want to give precedence to themselves.
19:39Actually, they do not have the passion to serve the people.
19:43And they become the peckers of their own self.
19:47And they want to have respect for themselves.
19:54So, such people, sooner or later,
19:57for the sake of people, they lose their respect.
20:03Islam teaches us this principle.
20:05Islam says that the best Muslims are those who are helpful for others.
20:12If we look at the life of Prophet Muhammad,
20:16he used to help others.
20:18After Prophet Muhammad and his companions,
20:20it was preached to the Ummah that a person is successful in helping others.
20:25Absolutely right.
20:26We will continue the discussion with Adil Bashir from Sialkot.
20:32We will include the Kalam.
20:34In the name of Allah.
20:42The desires of Madina remain in my heart.
21:02When will the Sultan of Madina call me?
21:22Crying, they are suffering.
21:42These crazy people say,
21:50When will we become guests of Madina?
22:06The desires of Madina remain in my heart.
22:24Oh, I wish the Sultan of Madina would call me.
22:44My heart and soul would be sacrificed for Madina.
23:01For me, all these desires are worthy of reverence.
23:17For me, all these desires are worthy of reverence.
23:35The desires of Madina remain in my heart.
23:50Subhan Allah. Subhan Allah.
23:52Mashallah.
23:53You have given us a beautiful Kalam.
23:56It is time to take a break.
23:57Stay with us.
23:58We will be back after a short break.
24:00Welcome to the program after the break.
24:04Today, we are talking about Khidmat-e-Khalq.
24:10Basically, this program is about reforming our society.
24:14Mufti sahib, what is the concept of a prosperous state and a happy society?
24:19Can it be possible without Khidmat-e-Khalq and mutual aid?
24:23And if these two are properly integrated into the society,
24:28can a prosperous state be established?
24:31Mashallah, this is a very good question.
24:36A state is the name of an organization.
24:38A state is the name of an organization.
24:40A state is the name of an organization.
24:45If we look at the character of the Holy Prophet,
24:47when he came to Madina, he did two things.
24:50One, he established Akhuwat, which is called Muwakhat-e-Madina.
24:54One, he established Misak-e-Madina, which was with other nations.
24:58He made Muslims his brothers.
25:00He made Muhajirin-e-Ansar his brothers.
25:05This was the first foundation of a Muslim state.
25:09Then, he made Misak-e-Madina, which was with other nations.
25:16When a state brings peace and security,
25:19then all these objectives are fulfilled.
25:22There is a saying of the Holy Prophet,
25:24that no one can be a believer until
25:29the other Muslims are protected by his hand and his tongue.
25:33There is a saying of the Holy Prophet,
25:35that no one can be a believer until
25:37the other Muslims are protected by his hand and his tongue.
25:39Hazrat Anas bin Malik says,
25:40Allah said,
25:41The Day of Judgment will come.
25:43Allah will say to man,
25:45O my man, I was sick.
25:47Why did you not visit me?
25:49Allah will say,
25:50I used to visit you.
25:52Allah will say,
25:53Don't you know that a man was sick?
25:56If you had visited him,
25:58he would have seen that I was there.
26:01Then Allah will say,
26:02I asked you for food.
26:04You did not give me food.
26:06Allah will say,
26:07I am the Lord of the worlds.
26:08I will give you food.
26:09Allah will say,
26:10A man was hungry in front of you.
26:12If you had given him food,
26:15I would have been there.
26:16Then Allah will say,
26:17You did not give him water.
26:19He will say,
26:20I will give you water.
26:21Allah will say,
26:22A man was hungry.
26:24He asked for food and water.
26:26You refused.
26:27If you had given him food,
26:28he would have come to me.
26:30This is a state in which
26:31the character of the Holy Prophet is present.
26:33A man like Hazrat Umar,
26:35would stay up all night in Medina
26:37and go around
26:39and go around
26:41so that people's sorrows are known.
26:43And when he reaches Baitul Maqdis,
26:45then how does the leader of the Ummah come?
26:47He himself is on foot.
26:48The slave comes on a horse.
26:49This is a state in which
26:50such gentleness is seen
26:52and order is established.
26:53Subhanallah.
26:54Professor Taimur Farooqi,
26:56our Sufis,
26:58the elders of the religion,
27:00and we see that
27:02the fundamental passion
27:04of those who are close to them
27:06in their shrines,
27:08or they feel it,
27:10is the service of the people.
27:12They are passionate about
27:14serving humanity.
27:16So what does he say
27:18about the example of human friendship?
27:20In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
27:22Doctor,
27:24if you look at the land
27:26of Makkah,
27:28the Arab leaders there
27:30had love for wealth
27:32and property.
27:34They also had a passion
27:36for affluence and prosperity.
27:38But one thing they did not have
27:40was the service of the people.
27:42It was their habit
27:44to impose themselves
27:46on others.
27:48But as soon as the Prophet
27:50came,
27:52he brought about
27:54a revolutionary revolution
27:56through which the society
27:58was given the wealth
28:00of light.
28:02Now, the Prophet
28:04presented his character
28:06in that era.
28:08He made a good relationship with the people.
28:10Now, the same practice
28:12of the Prophet was adopted
28:14by the companions of the Prophet.
28:16After the companions,
28:18the Taba'in, Taba Taba'in,
28:20when the Prophet
28:22said
28:24that the people
28:26are the children of Allah.
28:28Whoever loves them,
28:30loves Allah.
28:32Whoever loves the people,
28:34Allah also loves them.
28:36Now, this practice
28:38of the Prophet
28:40was inherited by the Ummah.
28:42The saints adopted it.
28:44I can say that
28:46if we talk about this land,
28:48Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Hajmeri
28:50when he came,
28:52it is well known that he taught
28:54the Kalima to 9 million people.
28:56It was his character.
28:58Look at Hazrat Dat Ali Hajmeri.
29:00Look at Pir Mehra Ali Shah.
29:02Look at Pir Jamad Ali Shah.
29:04All the saints of the Ummah,
29:06they all adopted the character of the Prophet.
29:08Along with the religion,
29:10along with Tabligh,
29:12they also focused on serving the people.
29:14We understand that religion is
29:16a set of rituals,
29:18but no.
29:20Where religion commands us to worship,
29:22to offer Salat,
29:24it also commands us to improve
29:26the performance of affairs.
29:28This was the method
29:30by which the name of those people
29:32is still there.
29:34What message do you give
29:36if we conclude this discussion?
29:38I would like to say that
29:40whenever a person
29:42thinks of serving the people,
29:44he should not discriminate between rich and poor.
29:46When he invites the rich,
29:48he should invite the poor as well.
29:50The Prophet said,
29:56The worst food is
29:58the food of the rich
30:00in which the rich should be invited
30:02but the poor should be left.
30:04Then the Prophet said,
30:06whoever rejects the invitation of a Muslim,
30:08he has disobeyed the Messenger of Allah.
30:10I would like to say
30:12that whenever a person
30:14thinks of serving the people,
30:16he should not discriminate between rich and poor.
30:18Instead, he should take care of the whole Ummah of the Prophet.
30:20Allahu Akbar.
30:22Doctor, the message of today is
30:24that we have become so involved
30:26in materialism
30:28that we have forgotten the sanctity
30:30and respect of relations.
30:32Relationship, co-habitation,
30:34brotherhood, brotherhood, equality,
30:36we are moving away
30:38from all these things.
30:40Our materialistic thinking
30:42has approached us so much
30:44that we have forgotten
30:46the usage of mobile
30:48and other activities.
30:50We have become involved in
30:52such extra activities
30:54that we have forgotten
30:56the respect of parents,
30:58the rights of relatives,
31:00the rights of brothers and sisters.
31:02So, the message of today was
31:04to serve the people
31:06who are related to relatives,
31:08the best person
31:10is the one
31:12who gives preference
31:14to others other than himself.
31:16He should respect their wishes
31:18and emotions and treat them with love.
31:20Absolutely right.
