00:00So Deb's second week running, People Power has won out for the time being and the
00:05Stop the Chop campaign seems to be very effective. How are you feeling?
00:09I am feeling absolutely delighted that yet again, as you say, People Power has won
00:17the day and the trees are still standing, the questions are still there of course,
00:23we haven't got the answers, Cornwall County Council have not released the
00:28report to date. I think, you know, this is where the campaign will be going in
00:35the next few days to try and put yet more pressure on the council to explain
00:42their reasoning. At the moment we still don't know.
00:46And were you taken aback by a couple of the protesters climbing the trees, you
00:51know, putting their lives at risk really? Potentially, I didn't expect that to
00:56happen. You know, it's always a kind of thought, I wonder if it will. In reality,
01:05sort of knowing the campaign group a little bit or the people that have
01:09turned up to sort of show that they're not happy, I was wondering who would be
01:14the one to go up the tree and so with the young people here that were able to
01:20do it, you know, just and yeah, they've made that choice and I think it
01:28probably changed, changed the day. So, you know, local heroes.
