00:00I don't proclaim to be a wildlife expert and I don't proclaim to know the backstory as

00:22well as everybody else here today. You've clearly had far more involvement and it's

00:28clearly an emotive subject. So we've made some inquiries after listening to yourself Debs and

00:35at this point I can confirm that there is no ecology report.

00:40So with that in mind I've advised that there should be no felling at this point.

00:49And what I've asked for is I've asked for an ecology report to be completed. I don't know

00:55when that's going to happen but we need to just slow everything down, do everything properly

01:00as you've suggested sir and then if we're going to take action in future we can do so with

01:06confidence that it's the right thing to do. What about the lies? Sorry sir? What about the lies?

01:14So that will have to be something that we unpick and we escalate with the council if it's required.

01:33they have finally admitted the guy was on holiday so this is several fabrications.

01:41Yeah they've lied just because you used the word confidence and it's going to be very hard for us

01:46to have confidence. Yeah I appreciate that so what I will ask is if we can try and identify a

01:50spokesperson that person can come into Falmouth Police Station we'll take some details and we'll

01:55work out whether there's an issue we'll look at the facts that are presented to us and we will

02:06us haven't arrived today and stood here on the pavement and tried to delay this that piece of

02:14information would never have been known and those trees would probably be down by now.

02:18So what else isn't true? What else isn't true? What else have we been told that isn't true?

02:30What I will say is Deb to come into the station we'll make an appointment to sit down we'll try

02:34and understand the build-up to this and identify if there's any issues that need to be unpicked or

02:39looked at but certainly for today we're going to slow everything down to give us the confidence

02:45that felling these trees is the right decision if it's the right decision. Thank you.
