00:00I don't know, Curtis, you know stuff better than I know stuff.
00:04Had had some stuff, but not the not the stuff yesterday.
00:08Yeah, I don't think we have to worry about him hosting a radio show,
00:11but good thing he's great at baseball.
00:13And that was I mean, you can't really find anything to complain about yesterday.
00:19I mean, what what was the issue other than Devers sucking?
00:21Yeah. Do you think Kassus liked the lineup he put together?
00:24I don't know if he was happy about that.
00:25But in general, you know, you had Willia or Abreu of all people.
00:29But I love the managerial stuff at my soul, Greg, you know.
00:33Yeah, I'm a seam head, as you have seen in dueling savants
00:35because I've kicked Shyam's ass twice.
00:38No. And by the way, this this drink, Courtney, has gone through him.
00:42It smells like the absolute bottom of a subway train.
00:45That's no. Oh, really?
00:47I have not been gaseous in the least.
00:49I actually feel tremendous.
00:51You seem like your head is very clear, which they say is remarkably clear.
00:54That it helps with clarity.
00:57I got to tell you, the last like half hour, 45 minutes, I felt like I was buzzing.
01:01It was great. I'll be purchasing his.
01:02No, no offense.
01:03But his head seems no clearer than it does on any other day.
01:07It's been an interesting morning.
01:08Shyam's been having that drink and Jackson just ordered breast milk.
01:11So I don't know what to make of it.
01:14But did I get a flex alert on you, Shyam, yesterday?
01:17What? You flexing a couple next week?
01:20Oh, yeah. I will be out Monday, Tuesday.
01:22OK. All right. Wow.
01:24Try to keep up with that.
01:25Oh, that's good. Well deserved.
01:27Well deserved, Shyam.
01:28Well deserved.
01:29He's here before everyone leaves, after everyone works weekends.
01:33We got Jackson coming up.
01:34Not too far after Jackson.
01:37Jackson taking control.
01:39I believe so. Yes, I believe he will be sliding in.
01:41Oh, this will be interesting.
01:43But I love when Jackson takes control of the ship and you're driving.
01:49It gives me quite anxiety, but it reminds me of the old days.
01:53Well, Courtney was worried about Raphael Devers after what she saw yesterday.
02:02Yeah, I'm not worried about I don't even want to say worried.
02:06I just think that we should keep an eye on it, because when this first came to be,
02:10once we got Bregman and we were all really excited about it,
02:12Wiggy and I brought up that egos can be hurt in situations like this.
02:16And I think the first time that we heard Raphael Devers speak on the topic,
02:21he made it abundantly clear that he was the third baseman.
02:25And so the change there, yeah, credit to Alex Cora that he got them all on board.
02:30But the ego hit that that must have been for Devers, I think showed a little bit.
02:35I think he looked a little disengaged and he and he stunk at the plate.
02:39And so that's the issue I have there.
02:41Well, yeah, he went 0 for 4 and left a couple of guys on in the was that in the 7th?
02:48Grounded out, I so you could argue that it's opening day and it happens and it's no big deal.
02:57But then I guess you could also ask the question about whether spending most of the time
03:07in Fort Myers being a little bit of a little bit of a baby.
03:15He wasn't a baby during practice.
03:17Like when we saw them practicing, he wasn't being a baby.
03:19He was there early, but he stayed out of like he he leaned heavily on being injured.
03:25Yeah. And was not available for a lot of things during spring training.
03:31So it will be some I agree with Courtney.
03:33It is definitely just something to keep your eye on.
03:36If it's something that you see continue where he's struggling at the plate.
03:42Yeah, maybe this is something that is definitely affecting him.
03:45And we only come to that conclusion from talking to Will Middlebrooks yesterday, where he says some guys, when they are DH and feel a little bit disengaged from the game, like they're not part of it all the way.
04:00Or, you know, whatever the feeling is that they might be happen when they're sitting in the dugout, when everybody else is in the field.
04:06That wasn't true, certainly with David Ortiz.
04:08But maybe David David Ortiz was like he was more of like a DH.
04:15And so his adjustment towards being a DH might have been a little bit easier because his expectations of playing first base weren't very high.
04:24We've yet to discuss the terrifying power.
04:28Horrifying power of the Hillman Jinks.
04:31I mean, yikes.
04:33So our guy, Liam Hendricks, on the I.L.
04:37Unfortunately, well, they're checking to see there.
04:40They say they hope it's inflammation, but they're going to the same doctor, I think, that performed the Tommy John.
04:46And that is never good.
04:48Man, another man down, another interview down.
04:53That's unfortunate.
04:54I mean, it would be great for the show if Ken is able to pull off the potential weekly spot that he's working on.
04:59But yeah, good for the team.
05:02I'm just I feel like the Red Sox should feel fortunate that I had the Noro and I wasn't there to write the Bregman.
05:09And Cora, you're becoming like the Madden cover, right?
