We ask the people of Glasgow what they think about the extra daylight now Spring is here.
Transcript
00:00Extra daylight helps, and it's spring, and it's starting again.
00:06In the winter, you know, it's not so much now, but when I was working,
00:11you went out when it was dark, and you came home when it was dark,
00:14so you never get any, you know.
00:16But, no, spring, you know, it's a new beginning,
00:20and the flowers are beautiful, and people are happier,
00:23and you're going on your holidays, you're making plans.
00:26You know, it's very healthy.
00:28I hate daylight savings. I despise it.
00:30I mean, it's great in the second half of the year when I gain an hour,
00:33but when I lose an hour, it's not for me.
00:35I'm not a morning person, but I'll be more positive.
00:37It is nicer, you know, spring's out, sun's out.
00:40Not great for hay fever people, but otherwise, it's pretty nice.
00:43I like walking, so it's nice when the weather gets better.
00:46Because we're outside all the time, you're out for working eight hours,
00:50and then when you get back, it's almost just straight inside.
00:53You can work for eight hours, and then you've still got time before and after work
00:56where you can actually relax, and it's not just cooped up inside.
