00:00It's time to talk a little baseball about the NL West, which includes the Dodgers, the Padres,
00:04the Diamondbacks, the Giants and the Rockies. If we look at the price points here to win this
00:09division, the updated numbers, the Dodgers actually at a minus 750 price. So a buyback
00:14on another team in that division where they were sitting at minus 800. Unbelievable. The Padres
00:19at an 11 to 1 price, the Diamondbacks at a 12 to 1 price updated and the Giants at 38 to 1
00:24and the Rockies at 500 to 1 to win that division. So once again, we'll start with the Los Angeles
00:30Dodgers, a minus 750 price currently at the Fanville Sportsbook, an outrageous price,
00:36but sometimes value is in the eye of the beholder. Is anybody picking anybody outside the Dodgers to
00:43win the NL Westmark? Would that be the case? I mean, again, I still think the Padres are very
00:50good. Um, you know, obviously Joe Musgrove won't be back until later on in the year,
00:55but when you talk about a starting staff of Dylan Cease, Michael King, um, you Darvish,
01:03who is injured stuff, Michael Waldron, knuckleballer, um, they have as good as any of a starting staff
01:11as anybody in baseball. Uh, it's a pretty good four that they have going out there.
01:16They have a lineup that can still hit the baseball. They were really good last year,
01:19even without a year after losing Juan Soto. I it's the only team I'd really give a shot to.
01:25I know the D back certainly have the world series pedigree for a couple of years ago, but
01:29I don't know. I looked in the Padres and I look at their wind total and I go,
01:32that feels really low for a team that won 93, 94 games last year. Like the idea that they're
01:39going to dip that far back to me. Um, the Dodgers winning a hundred games doesn't preclude the
01:45Padres from winning 90. They still get to play the Rockies 13 times. They still get to play the
01:50giants 13 times. There's a whole bunch of below average NL central teams running around and they
01:55still have the Nats and the Marlins. Like, you know, like there's still a chance that they could
02:00win a lot of games and make the post season and possibly try to pull off an upset.
