00:00the Knicks, who now sit at 45 and 26 on the season. We usually look at them, Mark, and say,
00:04well, they don't really perform all that well against the upper echelon teams, but they handle
00:08their business typically against teams they are supposed to beat. A 15-point win yesterday in the
00:13Garden against the Dallas Mavericks without Anthony Davis. That's a nice win to put in their
00:17cap and move forward and try to, you know, move up in the standings per se in the Eastern Conference.
00:22What's your take on the New York Knicks at this point right now after that victory against Dallas
00:26waiting on Bronson? Well, they're on a collision course with Boston in the Eastern Conference
00:33semis, right? It's just a question of whether they play the Pacers or the Bucs or the Pistons
00:39in the first round. And that's ultimately what it boils down to here. I mean, you know, I think the
00:44Knicks' most favorable matchup, although it's a little bit scary because Detroit might not be
00:49smart enough to know that they're not supposed to be this good at this point in time, given
00:52where they were last year at this point in time. So that's a very young and talented team. I think
00:58the Knicks are good enough to beat them, especially with home court advantage in the seven-game series
01:01in the first round. But, you know, obviously their cap is whenever they run into Boston
01:07or Cleveland. And whenever that happens, that's when they'll probably end up going home. So
01:10they just don't have enough depth and enough talent to be able to compete with those teams.
01:14And they've shown that all year long, that it would take something miraculous to be able to
01:17pull off a series upset against the Celtics or Cavs.
