All Nordic countries remain among the 10 happiest, according to the World Happiness Report, prepared under the aegis of the UN, with Denmark, Iceland, and Sweden trailing Finland, which slightly widened its gap to the second-place finisher.In sixth and tenth place, respectively, Costa Rica and Mexico enter the top positions on the list for the first time.The happiness ranking is based on a three-year average of personal assessments of life satisfaction, as well as GDP per capita, social support, healthy life expectancy, freedom, generosity, and corruption.
