00:00Move back! Move back! Move back!
00:20Move back!
00:21You gotta move back!
00:30We stand here today because yes, a nation must protect its borders, but more importantly
00:38a nation must protect its soul.
00:40If the people of faith don't stand up, then who?
00:44And if we don't, then what faith do we have?
01:00We stand here today because these people have a right to asylum, it's in the document
01:18that we supposedly celebrate today, and we are sick and tired of the militarization of
01:23the border, the militarization of our police officers.
01:39It is atrocious that we, as a people who pronounce ourselves to be the nation of plenty, the
01:47nation of wealth, the nation of security, would treat people inhumanely.
02:02What brings me here is the ability to take this particular journey, as we understand
02:08that our companions to the south have taken a much more treacherous and long journey.
02:14So every step that I take is in solidarity with them.
