00:00John's very good. John is a, um, he has strong views on things, but that's okay.
00:05If you think about it, John, he knows some of my thoughts.
00:09Nothing was ever said to John Mulvaney.
00:12If he wrote a book, I can't imagine that he can, because
00:15that's highly classified information. Even conversations with me, they're highly classified.
01:00I am announcing today that the United States will withdraw from the Iran nuclear deal.
01:18I might imagine they would take me seriously that I, I, when I assure them today that if you cross
01:24us, our allies, or our partners, you harm our citizens, if you continue to lie, cheat, and
01:32deceive, yes, there will indeed be hell to pay. John's very good. John is a, um, he has strong
01:40views on things, but that's okay. I actually temper John, which is pretty amazing, isn't it?
01:45Nobody thought that was gonna happen. I'm the one that tempers him, but that's okay.
01:55Anyway.
02:18Yeah, I do, because I have John Bolton, who I would definitely say is the hawk,
02:22and I have other people that are on the other side of the equation,
02:26and ultimately I make the decision, so it doesn't matter. But I want, for instance,
02:31I disagreed very much with John Bolton. His attitude on the Middle East and Iraq was going
02:35into Iraq. I think that was a big mistake.
02:43So,
02:50talking to the North Koreans is a waste of time.
03:12So,
03:42are you absolutely against John Bolton testifying? The problem with John is that
03:51it's a national security problem. You know, you can't have somebody who's at national security,
03:57and if you think about it, John, he knows some of my thoughts. He knows what I think about leaders,
04:04what happens if he reveals what I think about a certain
04:08leader, and it's not very positive, and then I have to deal on behalf of the country.
04:12So, I haven't seen a manuscript, but I can tell you nothing was ever said to
04:29John Bolton, but I have not seen a manuscript. I guess he's writing a book. I have not seen it.
04:42Could the Attorney General tell us what the DOJ is doing in terms of the Bolton book?
04:54Well, there are a number of things, but the thing that is front and center right now is
04:59trying to get them to complete the process, go through the process, and make the necessary
05:04deletions of classified information. But the book has been published.
05:08No, it hasn't. Yes, it's been published. It's just not released yet.
05:12So, he's doing it for the money. That's pretty clear, and my view is it's the Washington swamps
05:34equivalent of revenge porn. John Bolton has completely discredited
05:37himself. Multiple senior administration officials are on the record exposing his lies,
05:44and even the media seems to have taken note of John Bolton and how ridiculous some of the things
05:49he's said.
