00:00Starting a conversation and taking sexual assault, domestic violence and these issues that were traditionally swept under the carpet
00:08that people were afraid to talk about and now we've been talking about it for 20 years.
00:30Well, it's a pretty great shadow to live in, I'll tell you. She's amazing. I mean, when I was young I didn't really connect to it because you're a child and it's sort of all you know, but as you get older I'm extremely proud.

01:26What do you consider your greatest motivation factor? In other words, what makes you tick?
01:40What makes me tick is other people, the happiness that I've seen other people and just wanting to be with other people and help them.

02:09So many people watch ER that certainly the recognizability factor has definitely increased and it's been great for me because it's been very eye-opening to a lot of people that didn't realize that I could do this.
02:21The new Wolf Show, I guess, so you have to be one step notch ahead of the other show. What's the special sauce you guys have put into this recipe here?
02:42The special sauce is just getting a little bit more personal and finding out who these people are, I think, and people really can relate to them and identify with them.

04:06Being immersed in this material and learning the statistics and learning about the shame and the isolation that survivors of sexual violence feel, that is what really called me to start my own foundation and to respond to the subject matter that I was being embraced by.
04:35The subject matter that I was being immersed in every day and saying, in addition to talking about this on television, how can I personally respond and do more and bring the conversation out into the culture?
05:05In most states, the decision to send kits for testing is left up to the discretion of an individual. We must reverse that trend to ensure that every kit connected to a reported case is tested. The numbers don't lie. Testing all kits solves crimes and saves lives.
