The European Union sees the Palestinian Authority as 'best placed to govern Gaza', its foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas said after meeting Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa in the Israeli-occupied West Bank.
Speaking on the issue of the West Bank, Kallas said "settler violence, and new settlements under construction, are undermining the prospect of a two state solution," which she called the "only path to sustainable peace."
