00:00The prosecution will request that the presiding judge be arrested for the case of several missing soap operators,

00:07followed by the non-arrest of the six accused guards of Manila Arena.

00:13Ian Cruz is the witness.

00:18The prosecution again refused to issue an arrest warrant to the six guards of Manila Arena

00:24that were involved in the disappearance of several soap operators in Sabungan last January 2022.

00:29After the prosecution was dismissed,

00:31the motion for reconsideration of their previous request was rejected on February 19.

00:38So the next step is a motion or request to inhibit or let go of President Judge Rebecca Guillen Ubaña's case.

00:46I just give instructions that we cannot let a case like this go.

00:51These people are disappearing.

00:53That's why we have a duty to fix and answer the questions

01:00because we are the ones who were ordered by the law to investigate these things.

01:05The prosecution refused the decision of the Court of Appeals this January

01:09to cancel the three-million-peso fine of the six accused.

01:13The lower court's approval to fine them is grave abuse of discretion.

01:19The Court of Appeals already ruled that the petition for bail has to be denied.

01:23But the court issued a denial of our motion for issuance of warrant of arrest.

01:31We did already file a motion for reconsideration in the Court of Appeals.

01:35So that is still pending. We're waiting for the resolution.

01:38We tried to talk to the court members about the motion for inhibition of the state prosecutor's fine.

01:47But they said that they will not give any statement.

01:50We'll be filing our comment. We haven't read it yet. We haven't checked the motion.
