A mum, who was left with severe injuries after being attacked by her ex-partner, has urged other victims of domestic abuse to seek help.
Miranda Bury, 35, from Fleetwood, Lancs., suffered black eyes, bruises, and swollen lips following physical and verbal abuse by her ex, Joshua Carney, 30.
Carney was sentenced to 23 weeks in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of actual bodily harm and harassment.
Miranda, now a stronger person, encourages others to speak out, saying, "You don’t have to accept it, there is so much more out there for yourself and your own worth."
