00:00Today is the International Gauraya Day.
00:04Gauraya is on the verge of extinction all over the world.
00:08That is why all the organizations and people are continuously trying to protect Gauraya.
00:15India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also appealed to people many times for the protection of Gauraya.
00:24Last year, in the 116th episode of Man Ke Baat, PM Modi appealed for the protection of Gauraya.
00:54Gauraya is known as Gubbi in India.
00:57In every language and culture, stories about Gauraya are told.
01:04Gauraya plays a very important role in maintaining the biodiversity around us.
01:14But today, it is very difficult to see Gauraya in cities.
01:19Due to the increasing urbanization, Gauraya has gone away from us.
01:25There are many children of today's generation who have seen Gauraya only in pictures or videos.
01:34On the occasion of Gauraya Day, let us tell you about the Gauraya Colony built for the protection of Gauraya in Varanasi, the administrative area of PM Modi.
01:45Actually, in Varanasi, the Gauraya Colony has been built for the protection of Gauraya through the Vyagra Foundation.
01:53According to the founder of the Vyagra Foundation, small birds live in the Gauraya Colony.
01:59He said that for the protection of Gauraya, water vessels and their food, i.e. bajra and kakuni, are being sent from all over the country with wooden huts.
02:13This is the Gauraya Colony, where many small birds live.
02:20Different houses have been built for them.
02:25In the Gauraya Colony, Gaurayas live in harmony with each other.
02:35We have heard a lot about Gaurayas in our village.
02:40The beauty of Gauraya houses has been lost in the concrete jungle of the city.
02:47We are really proud of that.
02:49We have got wooden huts built for them, water vessels and the kakuni and bajra that Gauraya birds love to eat,
02:57we are distributing them all over the country to foreigners.
03:03We do not allow any kind of opportunity to go.
03:07For example, we give them at birthday parties, at wedding anniversaries,
03:12even when we have gone to someone's 13th birthday to express our condolences.
03:18We also give them at the Navratri Durga Poojan Festival, where we feed the bride and groom.
03:23We try to find a way to give them as a gift.
03:27We have distributed more than 50,000 wooden huts.
03:30The number of them is increasing.
03:32Till now, the Vyagra Foundation has also connected the famous personalities of every region to this campaign,
03:39who make huts in their homes for the protection of Gauraya and arrange their food and water.
03:47Till now, in the country, abroad, France, Australia and all over India,
03:54we have connected all the famous politicians, social workers, actors and actresses of Bollywood to this campaign,
04:04and in a way, they have instilled their passion for Gauraya.
04:09I have also built five wooden huts in my house,
04:11and fortunately, out of those five, Gaurayas have built three wooden huts,
04:18and have given birth to a child in March and September.
04:22And I am fortunate that ever since I have built these wooden huts in my house,
04:28every year in March and September, Gauraya gives birth to a child in my house.
04:34It is important to note that the World Gauraya Day was started in 2010.
04:39This campaign for the protection of Gauraya has now spread to more than 50 countries.
04:44Despite these campaigns and their importance, the number of Gaurayas is falling rapidly.
04:51Due to the World Gauraya Day, people are now waking up to save Gauraya.
