00:26This is the reaction of the PUV driver, Banjo, on the arrest of the former President Rodrigo Duterte on the case of Crimes Against Humanity in the International Criminal Court.

01:1125% disagreed, while 14% were undecided.

01:17In Metro Manila, 45% were in favor of the former President being punished, while the majority were in favor of other regions.

01:26Malacanang considered the results of the survey,

01:29while arguing that the government should focus more on fighting fake news so that the public can better understand the situation.

01:37We also saw that some were undecided, others were not well informed of the situation.

01:45Some did not believe in the government's actions because they believed in the fake news.

01:53According to ICC accredited lawyer, Joel Butuyan,

01:57because more Filipinos are in favor of the former President being punished,

02:01it will also strengthen the families of the EJK victims to investigate the ICC.

02:09The families of the victims have been afraid to go out for a long time.

02:20The SWS survey was conducted from February 15 to 19, 2025,

02:25and 1,800 registered voters nationwide were included as respondents through a face-to-face interview.

02:34If the ICC finds Duterte guilty, he will be sentenced to up to 30 years in prison.
