00:25Who was Hazrat Dawood A.S.?

00:27Today we know about Hazrat Dawood A.S.

00:291100 years before Christ, 500 years after the death of Hazrat Musa A.S.

00:36One of the prophets of Bani Israel, a great prophet, Hazrat Dawood A.S. was born.

00:43Your homeland is Baitul Jala.

00:48This settlement is located between Baitul Maqdas and Baitul Laham.

00:55Hazrat Dawood A.S. was a pious and blessed man of Allah.

01:00Allah gave him multiple qualities and abilities.

01:08He was brave and courageous.

01:11Hazrat Dawood A.S. killed the symbol of terrorism and barbarism, Jalut.

01:20Hazrat Dawood A.S. was killed at a very young age.

01:23During the time of Hazrat Shamwail A.S., Jalut had heated up the market of terrorism and barbarism.

01:29Thousands of Bani Israelis were killed by Jalut.

01:34After Hazrat Shamwail A.S., when King Talut went out with his army against Jalut,

01:41Hazrat Dawood A.S. was also in the army of Talut.

01:46Hazrat Dawood A.S. joined the army at a very young age.

01:50When the armies of Talut and Jalut faced each other,

01:55the tyrant Jalut challenged the armies of Talut to show his bravery.

02:02In response, Hazrat Dawood A.S. came out against Jalut.

02:10And against Jalut, Hazrat Dawood A.S. killed Jalut with great courage and bravery.

02:20You will find the mention of this in the Holy Quran.

02:24King Talut was very happy to see this.

02:27That Dawood saved the Bani Israel from the tyrants of Jalut.

02:32And King Talut not only saw the bravery of Hazrat Dawood A.S.

02:37He not only made Hazrat Dawood A.S. his son-in-law, but also gave him the kingship.

02:44Allah A.S. also blessed him with a very beautiful voice.

02:49We say that the voice of Hazrat Dawood A.S. is very beautiful.

02:52His voice was like a lute.

02:54When Hazrat Dawood A.S. recited the Zaboor, the river would stop.

02:59Trees, mountains, birds would recite the name of Allah with him.

03:07And they would be mesmerized by his voice.

03:11Zaboor means pieces.

03:13This book that Allah A.S. had given you, was actually the commandments of Torah.

03:22Bani Israel had not only abandoned the teachings of Hazrat Musa A.S.

03:29But they had also forgotten them.

03:31Allah A.S. had revived the teachings of Hazrat Musa A.S. through Zaboor.

03:37A famous incident that happened during the time of Hazrat Dawood A.S.

03:42There was a settlement called Aila which was near the lake.

03:46In that settlement, the Bani Israel were living.

03:50The people of that settlement had to hunt fish.

03:54Allah A.S. had forbidden them to hunt fish for a week as a test.

04:01They were not allowed to hunt fish for a week as a test.

04:04And that day was designated as a day of worship.

04:07Allah A.S. had to do this because the day when hunting was forbidden,

04:11Fish would come more.

04:14Because of this, the test was increased.

04:19People used to think that Allah A.S. had forbidden them to hunt fish for a week.

04:24But in that settlement, the people who were obedient to Allah A.S.

04:28They abandoned hunting for a week.

04:31And the people who were greedy and disobedient,

04:35Instead of abandoning hunting, they adopted a trick.

04:39They made ponds on the banks of the lake.

04:42And on the day of the week, they apparently abandoned hunting.

04:46To show off, they said that we are not hunting.

04:49Whereas, they used to collect the water from the ponds.

04:52Along with that, fish used to come.

04:55And then they used to close the ponds.

04:58The next day, they used to take out the fish.

05:02And they used to think that they had obeyed Allah A.S.

05:06The Aila was made.

05:07They obeyed Allah A.S. and our work was done.

05:10But the pious people of that settlement,

05:13They stopped them from disobeying Allah A.S.

05:17They stopped them from fighting with Allah A.S.

05:20They stopped them from fighting with Allah A.S.

05:22To the extent that when they did not stop,

05:25The pious people did not only break their relationship with those disobedient people.

05:29In fact, they built a wall between them and the disobedient people.

05:34On one side of the wall were those who were obedient.

05:37And on the other side were those who were disobedient.

05:43Despite the company of the pious people,

05:46When these disobedient people did not stop,

05:49Allah A.S. punished them.

05:53Because of which, the faces of all those greedy people were smeared.

05:58And they started looking like monkeys.

06:04Their number was about 12,000.

06:06After becoming monkeys,

06:08These people used to look at their relatives.

06:11And tears used to come out of their eyes.

06:13As if they were saying,

06:16I wish we had not disobeyed Allah A.S.

06:19I wish we had not fallen prey to Allah A.S.

06:24But unfortunately, Allah's punishment had come.

06:28Their faces were smeared.

06:31And within three days,

06:3312,000 monkeys were killed.

06:38This is the result of playing tricks with Allah A.S.

06:45May Allah A.S. protect us all from these tricks.

06:50May Allah's peace, mercy, and blessings be upon you.
