00:00Our Fastest Horse of the Week is brought to you by Independence Hall, one of those fast
00:05sires at Windstar Farm, who was the fastest two-year-old of 2019 with his 101 Buyer Speed
00:12Figure.
00:13Independence Hall's first crop are now two-year-olds, 16 of those are entered in the OBS March sale
00:18next week, and the judges are giving them two thumbs up.
00:22Eddie Woods, one of the consignors at OBS selling Independence Hall, says they have
00:26plenty of speed and are big training horses.
00:30Kieran Dunn says, we're very excited about the Independence Halls, having had him ourselves
00:35as a two-year-old, he was a beautiful young horse.
00:38And Independence Hall stands at Windstar with a princely sum of just $7,500.
00:45Now who was that Fastest Horse of the Week?
00:47You would expect, logically, that a horse that wins the San Andean Handicap by eight
00:52and a half lengths would get a big speed figure, and that's exactly what happened
00:56with Locked.
00:57So far, the best speed figure of 2025 is Copion, with her win in the Santa Monica at a 110
01:05Buyer.
01:06Right after that, at 109, of course, you had White Avario winning the Pegasus World Cup,
01:12and now Locked from the San Andean Handicap.
01:15We'll talk more about this race a little bit later in the podcast, but at 109, Locked is
01:20our Fastest Horse of the Week.
