00:00You intended to unleash disaster on the community of Luton.
00:05Your plans were intelligent, calculating, and selfish.
00:10Your ambition was notoriety.
00:13You wanted to be known posthumously as the world's most famous school shooter of the 21st century.
00:20The lives of your own mother and younger brother and sister
00:25were to be collateral damage on the way to fulfill your ambition.
00:30Your plans failed because your mother woke up and realized you had a gun and were determined to use it.
00:37This led to a horrific triple shotgun murder,
00:42with each victim dying knowing you had killed or intended to kill the others.
00:47On count one, the sentence is three and a half years' custody concurrent.
00:52On each of counts two, three, and four, I impose concurrent sentences of custody for life
00:59with a minimum term calculated from 49 years,
01:03from which the time you have already spent on remand must be deducted.
01:08Council have calculated this as 188 days.
01:12If that is incorrect, the case must be listed so it can be corrected.
01:17The sentence on those counts is therefore custody for life with a minimum term of 48 years and 177 days.
01:26However, you remain highly dangerous and it may be that you will never be released.
