00:00It's going to be bail with no reason to appear at their next mention which is May 13th for
00:08both Sarah Abu Lebdeh as well as Ahmed Rashad Nadir.
00:12Both nurses won't have to come to court next time is essentially what that means as their
00:17charges are heard through the local court system.
00:19Now this is significant because as the pictures we're showing you right now can reveal it
00:24was a really quite a chaotic scene at court today particularly in the courtroom where
00:29it was standing room only but outside we saw particularly for Miss Abu Lebdeh we saw
00:34a group of men in black hoodies essentially surround her so she couldn't be photographed
00:38or filmed as she entered or exited court as she fronts three charges.
00:43One of them using a carriage service to menace, harass or offend, making threats to kill someone
00:49as well as also threatening violence against a group.
00:53Now she will appear on May 13th.
00:56We did hear however from Ahmed Rashad Nadir's lawyer, he spoke about perhaps the admissibility
01:01of some of the evidence from this viral video, here's the lawyer a short time ago.
01:07The video which was captured and recorded was done without the consent of my client,
01:13without his knowledge and we will argue for that to be excluded.
01:19So that argument there we've heard from his lawyer, Mr Nadir's lawyer that perhaps that
01:23video could be excluded and that was the video that featured them having a discussion
01:28with the Israeli influencer Max Vi for where these alleged comments were made while they
01:32were at Bankstown Hospital as nurses where they allegedly discussed the idea of not only
01:36not treating Israeli patients but also killing them should they come into their care.
01:41Now it is really important to note here just finally Gemma that an investigation from police
01:45hasn't yielded any evidences yet that any patients in the care of either of these nurses
01:51were ever harmed nor has an investigation from NSW Health however that NSW Health investigation
01:56is still ongoing.
