00:00Sean, how militarily advanced are the Houthis and what real dangers do they pose?
00:07Well, yeah, they've got lots of people and they are very, very committed, but they don't
00:13have any of the conventional military capabilities that we enjoy in the West, you know, satellite
00:18communications, precision strike. Now, Iran has been providing the Houthis with a number
00:23of cruise missiles, ballistic missiles, we believe, and some pretty high-tech drones.
00:28But one has to remember that the USS Harry Truman, which is the sort of the big aircraft
00:34carrier, it's the middle of a carrier strike group that is probably providing most of the
00:40weapons effects into Yemen, there's nothing that Iran has that will touch that. That is
00:45bristling not only with offensive capability, but also defensive capability. And the danger
00:50here, of course, is exactly as John Bolton said earlier, what you want to do is cut the
00:55supply lines from Iran, feeding the Houthis, because what you don't want to do is end up
01:00being dragged into a man-on-man war with the Houthis. What you want to do is follow the
01:05trail back to Iran and punish Iran for this. But quite bluntly at the moment, the Houthis
01:12are no match at all for the Americans.
