00:00A man was arrested in Navotas on charges of frustrated murder.

00:05The suspect claimed that he shot his neighbor.

00:08Here is the first news from James Agustin.

00:13Outside his house in Barangay NBBS, Navotas City,

00:17a 27-year-old construction worker was arrested by the police

00:21on charges of frustrated murder.

00:24He was served with the arrest warrant issued by the court.

00:27Some of our suspects,

00:29because they found out that he had filed a complaint

00:32against the family of the victim,

00:34and the victim survived,

00:36they moved to other places.

00:39According to the police, in January 2023,

00:42a man shot his neighbor,

00:45a 33-year-old victim.

00:48This victim and the suspect had an illegal transaction.

00:53The suspect was convicted because the victim

00:58did not pay for their transaction.

01:01Where was the transaction from, sir?

01:03This has something to do with illegal drugs.

01:06The man was previously jailed on charges of theft,

01:09not on charges of frustrated murder.

01:12He denied this.

01:13I didn't do it.

01:15I didn't know that I was being jailed.

01:18I was just inside, on my cell phone.

01:21Why were you convicted?

01:23I fought with him.

01:26He gave me P1,000.

01:28He ordered me to buy cigarettes from a store.

01:35Then he scolded me at the store.

01:37He said, give me your money, I'll sue you.

01:40That's why I fought with him.

01:42The man also denied that he had a transaction on illegal drugs.

01:45The police is now preparing documents for the return of warrants.
