00:00The body of a man was found in a river in Antipolo City, according to the mother.

00:09Her son said goodbye, that he will just have a drink with his co-workers, but he did not go home.

00:19Some residents noticed a strange thing on December 10, in the river in Sitio Sagipin, Barangay de la Paz, Antipolo City.

00:32They went to the barangay and immediately responded.

00:36I saw that there were people, they were watching, the man was naked.

00:41My guess is that it was just a doll.

00:45In the video taken by one of the residents, a man was seen pulling a doll.

01:01A cold body of a man appeared in the residents of Barangay de la Paz.

01:06We did not see any wounds or stab wounds or anything.

01:11We did not see any part of the body that was bruised.

01:16The victim, Melvin Restre, a 26-year-old construction worker, was identified.

01:22According to the victim's mother, he was last seen on December 8 morning.

01:27She said goodbye, that he will just have a drink with his co-workers.

01:31He never came back. I thought he was already in the barracks.

01:36He was just found lying there in the river.

01:44He did not look familiar, but he was wearing clothes from the police station.

01:49That's all I know. And his feet, that's him.

01:56He did not fight back. He did not say anything.

02:00I called him and told him that I wanted to surrender what I did to him,

02:09no matter what happened.

02:12The authorities are still investigating the incident.

02:19to find out the possible cause of the victim's death.
