00:00As a society, I definitely think we don't talk about anxiety enough.
00:04We definitely have come a long way though, but there's room for us to improve and speak about it a bit more openly.
00:12So what made me take part in this research is, ultimately, if we can help other people prevent, cure or treat the anxiety that they're dealing with,
00:26I can only imagine how impactful it would be for them and so many other people.
00:31So I'm a big advocate for being the voice for the change, and that's why I'm taking part in this study.
00:37My message to anyone that's dealing with anxiety is, firstly, to know you're not alone.
00:42And the way you won't have to feel alone is by reaching out to the right people, whether it's your friends, your family, a therapist, a doctor,
00:52and be part of the support system. There's lots of resources out there.
00:57It's just a matter of feeling comfortable to talk about it and be part of studies like this to help other people, help yourself and help other people as well.
