01:09This recognition holds even greater significance in a year of convergence.
01:19The 55th anniversary of the IABC,
01:25the 75th anniversary of our company, GMA Network,
01:32and receiving this prestigious award at my age of 85.
01:41IABC Asia Pacific is an organization of professional communicators
01:49from various industries that aim to share the best communication practices around the world.
01:55In our interview, Atty. Gozon said that there are challenges that the industry,
02:00if not the whole country, is facing.
02:02There are many challenges now facing the network,
02:06and we are trying to address them.
02:09But today, the problem is really fake news.
02:15How to be truthful in news reporting.
02:18Atty. Gozon is an impressive individual.
02:21He's a leader that, through his communication with his team,
02:25he inspired the people to recognize the importance of the Philippine culture.
02:30And it was, I think, this collaboration and this bringing these people together
02:35that made GMA what it is today.
02:38And for that, we recognize the importance of his work
02:41and award him the Communicator of the Year.
