00:00Several congressmen have called for more attention to the victims of the war on drugs in the past administration.
00:08They also want to avoid the involvement of politics in talking and fighting the spreaders of fake news.
00:14Mela Lesmora returns to the center of the news.
00:19House Committee on Overseas Workers Affairs Chairman Jude Asitre mocked the allies of former President Rodrigo Duterte
00:27for not involving politics in the litigation of the International Criminal Court on the War on Drugs in the past administration.
00:36According to Asitre, the task for the victims of the fake drug war is to bring attention to them and their families.
00:45Therefore, he hopes that politics will not be the clear crime to answer the real culprits.
00:53As for House Deputy Majority Leader Paul Ortega, he hopes that he will serve as a lesson to all world leaders in what is happening now to the former President.
01:02He believes that the leadership and power of anyone, anytime, should not be abused.
01:10As public officials, they should use their capacity and mandate appropriately in all occasions.
01:18Now, even though the debates and demonstrations about the ICC issue are hot,
01:24House Deputy Majority Leader Janet Garin might have lied about the comments of some who went to watch the martial law situation now.
01:33It's very far from the truth of the fake news of martial law.
01:40First of all, yes, there are pockets of demonstration.
01:44That's natural because people are emotional.
01:48However, the problem is that that is not the solution.
01:52If the administration is focused on something, that is the difference in our economy.
02:00Because you can see that everything is moving to lower the price of food.
02:05Everything is moving to lower our inflation.
02:09Everything is moving to help small businessmen.
02:14And that is actually all these directions are geared towards pushing for a better and a more robust economy.
