00:00This is my dog.
00:01Awww.
00:02And today, I'm gonna be using Lego to build over 10 custom items for him to use
00:07to see if they actually work or not.
00:09So, anyway, let's go.
00:11This is my dog. His name is Solomon.
00:13He's 7 years old, and he's a white golden retriever.
00:16Heh.
00:17Nope.
00:17And the first item I'm gonna build him is a Lego dog bowl.
00:20So, I used some basic Lego pieces to build a small round bowl for his food.
00:25But to drop his food into the bowl, I'm gonna build a working Lego dog food dispenser.
00:29So, I built a simple device with a sliding door that you pull,
00:32which will then create a passage for the food to travel through.
00:35So, above, I then built a large glass case to put all the food inside of.
00:39And now we're ready to test it, so let's try feeding my dog.
00:43Okay, here we go.
00:48Nice.
00:49Next, I'm gonna build a wearable Lego dog collar.
00:51So, to build one, I made a simple hinge using two special plates.
00:55And I kept repeating that until I built an entire circle out of them,
00:59which looks pretty satisfying, and it's gonna make the perfect collar.
01:03Nice, it actually fits him.
01:04And now that we've built a collar, we can attach different accessories to it,
01:08like this small box that I put a tracker inside of.
01:10That way, I can track him down if he runs away.
01:13And to give him some drift, I even built this large money sign made from gold Lego pieces,
01:18which can hang from his neck.
01:19But the most important accessory we need to build is a leash.
01:22And it turns out, Lego actually makes these special string pieces with studs on each end.
01:27That way, they can attach to each other.
01:28So, I went ahead and bought as many as I could.
01:31And together, they make one giant string, which will make the perfect leash for my dog.
01:35So, let's attach it to his collar and take him on a walk.
01:40Nice, it works.
01:41And as another wearable accessory, I also built my dog these Lego glasses.
01:45Yeah, these are pretty pointless, but they look cool.
01:47Okay, something all dogs love is chasing squirrels.
01:50And it turns out, Lego actually sells a buildable version of one.
01:54So, my plan is to build this thing and surprise my dog with it.
01:57Okay, the squirrel's finished.
01:59And it actually looks pretty real.
02:01It's even holding the small nut.
02:02So, now I'm gonna put this squirrel outside and surprise my dog with it to see how he reacts.
02:08Go get the squirrel.
02:12Wow, he didn't even notice it.
02:14So, it looks like my prank failed.
02:16Another thing dogs love is getting scratched.
02:19So, this next item I built is a simple Lego scratching tool with these three pointy tips on the end.
02:24So, let's test it.
02:28Oh yeah, he likes that.
02:29Next, I wanna build my dog a brush to keep his fur clean.
02:32So, to make the pointy tips on the brush, I'm gonna need tiny stick pieces.
02:37Because if you take enough of them, you can attach them to these special bricks with holes.
02:41And if you repeat it enough times, you can build this very realistic looking brush.
02:45So, to test if this brush works, let's try removing crap from my dog's fur.
02:51Yes, sir, it actually works.
02:53Okay, this next item I built is very interesting and it's a Lego dog poop scooper.
02:58Basically, it uses this flexible piece and this giant claw which can pick up anything.
03:05Nice, let's go.
03:06Another common product for dogs is a whistle.
03:09And it turns out you can build your own custom whistle out of three Lego pieces.
03:13So, let's see if I can call my dog with it.
03:17Nice, yes I can.
03:18Okay, this next item I'm gonna build is actually a toy.
03:21And it's a small catapult for launching treats.
03:24So, I went ahead and put his favorite treat which is an egg.
03:29Next, I wanna build a working Lego dispenser for dog treats.
03:32So, I built this one with a sliding piece inside that will dispense one treat at a time.
03:37And above it, I built a glass case to put all the treats.
03:39And I even decorated it with this small dog bone.
03:42But what makes this treat dispenser special is that every time you shut and open the door, a new treat will appear.
03:48So, it's like an unlimited money glitch but with dog treats.
03:54This next item I'm gonna build is actually a personal invention of mine.
03:58And it uses a small Lego motor that will rotate anything you attach to it.
04:02So, I went ahead and built my own Lego dog toy which is this pole you attach a treat to.
04:07And when you turn it on, the treat begins spinning making it a challenging game to get it.
04:14Okay, my dog's struggling to get the treat and it's not spinning like how I thought.
04:18So, this invention kinda failed.
04:19Okay, this next Lego build I'll make outside because I want to build a life-size Lego dog house.
04:25And because my dog is big, I'm gonna need as many Lego bricks as possible.
04:29Okay, I'm out of bricks and look at what we've built.
04:32Yeah, basically nothing so we need a different plan.
04:35Okay, yeah, regular Lego bricks won't work.
04:37So, instead, I bought giant Lego bricks off Amazon that are way larger than normal Lego.
04:43So, this should work perfectly.
04:45Okay, the house is finished.
04:47It has two big windows and this giant door on the front.
04:49Let's see if it's sturdy.
04:55Nice, yes, it is.
04:56Now, we can surprise my dog with his brand new house and he actually seems to like it.
05:00It's also the perfect size for him because he has plenty of space inside.
05:04Now, since we have these giant Lego blocks, I have one final build I want to make.
05:08And it's a Lego obstacle course with multiple challenges.
05:12So, for this first challenge, he has to get past these tall pillars without knocking them over.
05:16For challenge number two, he needs to crawl under this small bridge.
05:19And for the third final challenge, he needs to jump over this wall.
05:23Okay, come.
05:27Come.
05:28Jump.
05:30Okay, I think I made the wall too tall for him.
05:32So, I fixed it by making it a little shorter.
05:34And now, let's try it again.
05:36Okay, come here.
05:43Boom.
05:44Nice.
05:44Thanks for watching.
05:45Shoutout to my dog.
05:46And comment what I should build next.
05:48So, I'll see y'all in the next one.
05:49Take care.
