00:00In every FIFA, from all the way back in FIFA 15, we've done a Barcelona career mode.
00:05It's basically tradition on my channel, and it's a series that year after year has taken my channel to newer heights.
00:10But in FC 25, we have not done a Barcelona career mode yet.
00:16And so I think now it's the perfect time to continue tradition and begin our journey with Barcelona.
00:21But wait, I know what you guys are thinking.
00:23Barcelona in the form of their life. They've got a fantastic manager.
00:27Why would they sack Hansi Flick and bring in me?
00:30Well, I completely agree with that, and that's why I'm not coming in as the new Barca manager.
00:34But instead, if you look at what's happening at the club off the pitch, you'll realize that's where Barca needs help.
00:40The club is going through severe financial issues.
00:42There's still a legal case going on for Dani Almo's registration.
00:46The club are literally not allowed to make any more transfers.
00:49If not for Barca's unbelievable academy, this club would be in the segunda division.
00:54And that's why I'm going to be coming in to fix that side of the business for Barcelona.
00:58I'm coming in as El Presidente.
01:01That's right, boys, I'm going to become Barcelona's president.
01:04And my goal is simple, making Barcelona great again.
01:07As club president, my job's going to be a bit different.
01:10Like, of course, choosing the club's manager.
01:13Right now, we've got Hansi Flick on a one-year contract, so I'm not too worried.
01:16But also, I'll be responsible for making transfers, of course, based on the manager's input.
01:21Besides that, we'll have to sort out all the club's sponsorship,
01:23which is going to be a really important part, by the way,
01:26because we need to get Barcelona out of bankruptcy.
01:28But also, one important thing is that we'll be dealing with Javier Tebas,
01:33La Liga's president.
01:34And oh boy, that's not going to be easy. He's a Madrid fan.
01:37And I'm sure he's going to be causing us all sorts of problems.
01:39He's the one we're dealing with when it comes to Dani Almo's registration.
01:43He's trying to get him banned.
01:44But yep, guys, this Barcelona job is going to be totally different and a lot of fun.
01:49But the goal remains the same.
01:50I want to bring the treble to Barcelona.
01:53Here we go, guys. Episode 1 with Barcelona.
01:56The tradition continues.
01:58Although this time, I'm coming in in a slightly different role as El Presidente.
02:02And of course, straight away, looking at the amount of young talent we've got, it's just crazy.
02:07There's Lamin Yamal, Tau Kubasi, Baldy.
02:10And on the bench, players like Gavi, Fermin Lopez, Casado.
02:13Now, of course, since I'm not the manager, I'm the president.
02:16I can't change any of the tactics. Hansi Flick's going to be deciding all of that.
02:20And also which players he wants to use as starters.
02:23And this is his tactical approach, boys.
02:24Basically a 4-2-3-1 formation.
02:27Super aggressive defensive line.
02:29Yep, we know all about that.
02:30And looks like this is how he wants this Barca team to play,
02:33with Lamin Yamal being one of the focal points.

03:31So I can see why Hansi wants a new striker.
03:33But he also wants a winger, which is very interesting.
03:36We've got Lamine Jamal and Rafinha,
03:38who on form are probably the two best wingers on the planet right now.
03:41But yeah, when it comes to squad depth, we've just got Ferran Torres,
03:44who I think Hansi sees more of a backup to Lewandowski.
03:47We do have Ansu Fati, but this guy, yeah, he's gone from being the next Messi
03:51to now a player that's pretty much transfer listed.
03:53Feels bad, man, because I used to rep Ansu Fati quite a bit.
03:56But OK, I'm putting it up on my to-do list.
03:58We need a striker and a winger, but also defensive reinforcements.
04:02I don't think Hansi means a centre-back, because we've got Araujo,
04:05there's Kubasi already, Inigo Martinez is pretty good.
04:08Well, at least for a season.
04:10OK, but in the full-back spot, we've got Koundé and not really much depth.
04:13Fort is a young kid.
04:15Same thing for the left-back spot, man.
04:16I think Hansi Flick needs some squad depth in the full-back position,
04:20preferably a player who can play in both spots.
04:22But about making signings, we may have a slight problem.
04:25You see, Barcelona's current financial situation, it isn't the best.

04:30The club is close to bankruptcy and we've got a budget of just 32 million to spend.

04:37It's from La Liga's president.
04:39The last time Barcelona got one of these, it was Messi saying that he wanted to leave.

04:45La Liga are hereby banning Barcelona from the league
04:48for failure of complying with FFP regulations.
04:51If Barcelona fail to generate at least 200 million in player sales before match day one,
04:56Barcelona will not be allowed to compete in La Liga.
