00:00Let's break down to me, you know, there were some interesting matchups here because when usually you get a tournament format
00:05You know, obviously you could just pick them out of how you try to figure out a different way to do it

00:11These guys are gonna try to match up their biggest stars at the end whether it's the NCAA tournament or any tournament
00:16You don't want to have your big names drop out in the beginning
00:18But there's some guys that we were looking at in these different divisions saying, okay, you know, depending on where they are
00:22I think they might be a favorites and something got matched up in the first round
00:26So let's touch on some of these and then we'll get into some of the other matchups with you
00:29In a little bit, but first up in the welterweight that's gonna start off first April 3rd
00:33That's the first card for them Jason Jackson and Korshkov
00:37two of the more veterans in this division two guys that you know have a lot of
00:42Experience standing and trading and be probably more exciting fights this division matched up in the first round. What do you think of this one? I
00:50Think you know, this is a good opportunity for Jason Jackson to kind of get his name back out there
00:55You know winning the title against Amisov was big for him kind of showed everyone that regardless of organization
01:01He is the real deal and guys that Kilcliffe always talk about him saying he is really a very well-rounded mixed martial artist
01:08He's fighting someone Korshkov who you know, very dangerous on the feet
01:12But once you put him on his back, he kind of comes non-existent. I think you got two
01:16Names from Bellator that will probably be the main event on the card
01:20So if people are into that that's a reason to tune in and watch and I think
01:24The winner of that bracket or that matchup is probably the favorite to win that whole thing
01:30Yeah, and there's another matchup in that one as well. That is kind of interesting the other

01:34If you're gonna say one two, three four
01:36These probably guys would have been in that top four as well as long with those two guys that we just mentioned as Logan Sturley
01:41And Margaret Molotov another, you know match of guys who like to trade this one can be very interesting
01:46This can be you know a quick fight if one of these guys lands
01:49You know in a big shot early on both of them a lot of experience one a lot of experience in Bellator
01:53One a lot of experience in the PFL. So it's kind of like a you know, League vs. League matchup here to start this tournament

02:02Molotov I think we he kind of ran into a really bad matchup in Musaev in that last one
02:09You know, this is a guy who's actually known for his wrestling
02:11But his fell in love with knocking people out and he's had success doing it against Musaev. He couldn't take him down
02:17He couldn't Lance now. He's fighting someone Logan Sturley who in my opinion is a very one-dimensional fighter
02:22He does not have great striking. He's a good wrestler. He keeps coming forward good on top
02:27But if he can't get him a lot off down, he's gonna get totally I think he gets absolutely smoked
02:31So I think for whom a lot top this is a really good opportunity a good matchup for him
02:36Keep the fight on the feet and I think he is someone that you know
02:39If he gets past Logan Sturley, you're gonna see him in the finals
02:43Let's move over to bantamweight right now the next week April 11th
02:46We get to see these guys start to take each other on and move on and see who is gonna develop in this bracket
02:51Again, you know two of the bigger names probably that you have in this one
02:54There's a lot of guys that are gonna build some good names some undefeated fighters that maybe a lot of people haven't seen a lot
02:59Of yet or you know some great records in general
03:01But the one that's gonna be the headline fight I think is
03:03Magomedov versus Higo in the first round the Brazilian the Russian, you know again two guys a lot of experience two guys with a lot
03:09Of win, although Magomedov has you know struggled in his last few flights there at Bellator
03:13But still to the bigger names is division right off the bat against each other
03:18Well, actually Magomedov lost by split to patchy mix I thought he won that fight most people thought he won that fight
03:24I think he kind of got screwed there on the cards and I think this is his tournament to win here
03:28I think he go is someone that's good at jiu-jitsu
03:30But you know
03:32Magomedov is just excellent everywhere could push a medicine pace and when he go has gotten to that this position fighting this level of talent
03:38That's where he struggles. I think Magomedov is the clear favorite for this division
03:42I do think there's some other guys in there that are dark horses and this division
03:46I think has the most depth there in it on planet Earth right now
03:50And I think for the PFL they need to really execute here and lean into these guys
