00:00do you have these fights you have championships for the PFL MENA you have
00:08you know some of these showcase fights or fighters you might see coming up in
00:12the PFL and making their names in these tournaments in the future so a loaded
00:15card goes all day goes from like 9 a.m. Eastern all the way through these title
00:20fights in the afternoon so let's get into it and look at some of the things
00:23in the top of the card one of those people that we've talked to about their
00:26fight coming up is impact Kasanji and I great light heavyweight won the 2023
00:30championship for this division he's going to be fighting again for it in
00:342024 against go let's set on Yag Shemirodov now Impa is a little bit of a
00:39favorite there minus 148 on the books if you look at how these guys got here
00:43Kasanji and I got a nice decision win unanimous over Josh Silveira while his
00:49opponent got a decision win over Wilkinson now they face each other number
00:53one and number three in this tournament so a little bit of an upset that Yag
00:57Shemirodov by the way the the rankings were after the regular season made it to
01:01the finals a little bit but obviously this is a dangerous guy Yag Shemirodov
01:0424 7 and 1 3 and 0 in the PFL this is his first season in there and he's won
01:09all three fights 5 11 72 inches 35 years old from Turkmenistan 13 wins by KO
01:14that's the main way he wins 7 by decision so he's obviously a guy who
01:18loves to stand up Kasanji and I of course 18 and 4 8 and 1 in the PFL
01:22making his second go-round in this season format of course also fought
01:26previously for them in other fights 5 11 same height a little bit more reach at
01:3075 inches and 30 years old now fighting out of Florida 9 wins by decision 5 by
01:35KO 4 by sub so a lot of spread out on how he wins but obviously as we saw from
01:39his previous fights a guy who loves to mix it up and try to get his opponents
01:43off of their game we'll see if that is on the feet against his opponent in
01:46Yag Shemirodov or if maybe that's a little bit more of the grappling and the
01:49ground-and-pound we'll see but both guys undefeated coming into this impact
01:54two finishes then a unanimous decision we talked to him about that last week
01:56about how you know a lot of fighters in this format like to kind of feel things
02:00out get the decisions not risk getting cut and thrown out of a tournament but
02:03he went for the finishes then got the decision against the tougher opponent
02:06and then Yag Shemirodov first round KO then two unanimous decisions so both
02:11these guys are gonna mix it up but you know maybe something that goes to the
02:14judges scorecards we will see should be an awesome fight for the light
02:18heavyweight crown then of course you have the women matching up against each
02:21other we talked to Dakota DeCheva a couple weeks ago she's gonna be fighting
02:24for that title against Tyler Santos Santos 22 and 3 3 and on the PFL her
02:29first season there you see number one number two in this tournament Santos a
02:32little shorter 5'6 while DeCheva is 5'8 a little bit shorter on the reach 67
02:36and a half by 70 inches for DeCheva little older 31 years old the Brazilian
02:40versus the English fighter DeCheva who's 13 and now DeCheva 11 over 13 wins by
02:45KO Santos had seven UFC fights of course even fought for the title against
02:49Shevchenko so this is the most experienced and maybe most dangerous
02:52fighter that DeCheva has ever fought in her PFL career we'll see how she matches
02:56up against her but we know what her style is gonna be it's gonna be coming
02:58forward it's gonna be attacking both of them 3-0 this season DeCheva all by
03:02first round finishes Santos had a rear naked choke split decision unanimous
03:06decision so well Santos gonna win anyway she can DeCheva is gonna look to take
03:09her head off can she do that against Yvette or is Santos gonna be able to
03:13take her down and neutralize her a little bit more we will see but DeCheva
03:16a big favorite minus 245 right now in the books and then a featherweight you
03:19have Brandon Loughnane versus Timur Kizriyev now Kizriyev 17-0 5'9
03:2468 and a half inches 29 years old out of Russia number one and number three in
03:28this tournament as you see there on the bracket Loughnane 30 and 5 5'9 71
03:33inches 34 years old from England a little older a little longer but both
03:37these guys like to battle 13 decision wins for Kizriyev for the most of his
03:42record there for only four wins by him have come outside of going the distance
03:45Loughnane 16 of his 30 wins by KO so one likes to bite his time one likes to get
03:51you down and finish you off so which one is it gonna be both guys undefeated
03:543-0 this season Loughnane had a ground-and-pound win a
03:57dr. stoppage and a split decision to get here his opponent two unanimous
04:01decisions than a split decision so it's gonna be who controls the action who
04:04controls the pace who controls the style and that's gonna be the key here as
04:08Loughnane wants to get the finish Kizriyev wants to see you know what he
04:11can do and find his spots to get the points and leave it in the hands of the
04:14judges so a lot of these fights are gonna be you know by who controls the
04:18action and how the fight goes as it is with everything styles make fights so
04:21who is going to control the style and dominate the position and all these as
04:25they go for the title that's right as we talked about last week with all these
04:28six fights titles on the line million-dollar checks on top of what
04:32you're gonna make otherwise so it is a big payday and a big you know fight for
04:36all these fighters even someone like Santos who has been to the top of the
04:39mountain and other promotions as well
