00:00On the last day of his Asia Tour in the Philippines on Wednesday,

00:04WNBA Champion and New York Liberty Superstar Sabrina Ionescu visited the Girls' God Game Home Court in Santa Maria, Bulacan

00:15where she taught some Filipino ballers basic basketball skills.

00:26Sabrina Ionescu Fever was also felt in Sacred Heart Academy in Santa Maria, Bulacan

00:32after WNBA Champion and New York Liberty Superstar visited the Girls' God Game Home Court on Wednesday

00:41for the last day of his Asia Tour here in the country.

00:45Ionescu herself taught the young Filipino ballers basic basketball skills

00:50as a passing and correct shooting form.

00:54After this, the Girls' God Game players made a mini exhibition game

00:59where Ionescu herself was impressed with their skills despite their young age.

01:05Among the young Filipino hoopers who were lucky enough to be part of Ionescu's training clinic

01:11were 13-year-old LJ Makiraya and 12-year-old Chulsi Calub.

01:17My experience with Sabrina is that I am very happy that she visited here

01:24and we also learned a lot about basketball.

01:28Seeing Sabrina here in the Philippines visiting us is very inspiring and motivating.

01:35I really enjoyed it and I know to myself that I will apply all the things that she taught me earlier.

01:42According to the Girls' God Game coach, Sarah Costan,

01:46visiting Ionescu is a big deal for the girls who tried basketball.

01:54I am also a fan of Sabrina and what they do to make space for the girls

02:00is one of the things that Girls' God Game continuously pushes.

02:05Continue to give opportunities, avenues for our girls to play

02:10because usually when you go to court, there are no girls playing.

02:15They don't see any role models or representation in basketball,

02:21especially here in the Philippines, women's basketball is still emerging.

02:24So it's a big thing that people's attention goes to women's basketball.

02:30And this is what inspires our girls, what ignites their spark

02:34that someday I can become a women's basketball player.

02:38Meanwhile, the new Girls' God Game home court was also shown

02:43by the Filipino visual artist and illustrator, Jill Arteche.

02:48For the outdoor courts, it's heavily inspired by Sabrina's resilience and dedication for her game,

02:55which has allowed her to be great buyers, which is the title of the outdoor court.

03:01For the indoor court, which represents the future,

03:05it's inspired by Sabrina's achievement.

03:09And we wanted to show young female athletes that they too can,

03:14the potential that they have, the endless possibilities that they can craft and gain for themselves.

03:23In the last three days of Sabrina Inescu's visit here in the Philippines,

03:27many Filipino ballers were given inspiration.

03:31This is a big step for the continued development of women's basketball here in the country.
